Right wingers only care about the rights of Christians and to own guns and legislate morality.

People who want laws against sodomy, ban abortion, force prayer into schools, deny the poor housing, food and healthcare while stocking up on guns for when shtf are extremists. Very little doubt of that remains.

Maybe in your convoluted mind...But let's break down what you tick off here....

    1. "People who want laws against sodomy" - Wtf are you talking about here? I have not seen any big national push for something like this....

    2. "ban abortion" - Are then the clergy of NY not welcome in NY? Should Cuomo get in touch with Cardinal Dolan's office and tell him to pack his bags?

    3. "force prayer into schools" - Who's doing that? As far as I know, the only groups "forcing" anything are the shrill leftists who scream if anyone even mentions religion inside the doors of a school....

    4. "deny the poor housing" - No one wants to deny the truly poor anything...We are a generous nation, and look out for our less fortunate to the tune of nearly half the country being on welfare in one form or another...

    5. "food" - See above...No one is talking about denying anyone in need. Battling fraud is not denial of true need.

    6. "and healthcare" - The needy are now, and have been eligible for free healthcare under Medicaid...

    7. "stocking up on guns for when shtf are extremists." - So at least you admit that we are headed for a confrontation at some point...Owning guns are my constitutionally protected right. It wasn't made up in a SCOTUS case, or under some feel good language under a "Human rights" narrative, it is codified in the supreme law of the country whether you like it or not. And your push to say that people that believe in exercising that right are 'extremists' makes you the real extremist.

Your argument is full of strawman arguments and based solely on emotion, which is fallacious at its core...Come on back when you have a solid argument. This is crap.

I don't believe we are headed for confrontation with anyone but perhaps the crazy right wing American Taliban.

You addressed nothing, you are not here for conversation of any type. Have a nice day.

Sure i am. You're just afraid to accept that Right Wing extremist views are unpopular with over 80% of Americans.

Those who are against abortion, pro-assault weapon but against background checks and anti-gay. They are less than 15% of the population. That makes them extremists by definition.

No, I am not interested in your divisive labels for those who you disagree with. That is not conversation, but I'll give you one more chance. I addressed each name, and false label you tried to attach, and instead of addressing that you chose to make an absurd comment that had nothing to do with what I said....Now, try again, or be exposed as someone just looking to say outrageous things, and not discuss a thing.

Item 7 was such an extreme remark that it deserved what I wrote as a response. As for 1-6...

    1. Anti-gay = wanting homosexuals imprisoned. This is the most extreme of all Right Wing views, and three Right Wing SCOTUS justices voted that way in Lawrence. However, as extreme the views are of Scalia, Rehnquist and Thomas, they are revered by much of the Right.

    2. Do the clergy want assault weapons? Coumo's comments grouped extremists into a category which were against abortion, anti-gay and pro-assault weapon. Two out of three here really ain't bad.

    3. Just your response here indicates that you're wanting religion mentioned in schools. Most atheists think that's inappropriate. I know. We're a minority that folks like GHW Bush believe do not deserve to be citizens. But, nonetheless, it seems courts tend to agree: school and prayer do not mix.

4-6. The Right is and has been doing everything in their power to cut funding for poor, from cutting foodstamps to trying to crush Obamacare. So, I do not believe your argument on those three points speaks truth.
