Not only was he convicted of attempting to assassinate President Obama, but was also convicted of 4 counts of child molestation, as well as attempting to frame an Elvis impersonator for the assassination attempt.JACKSON, Mississippi (Reuters) - A Mississippi man accused of sending poisoned letters to President Barack Obama and two other public officials, and then pinning them on an Elvis impersonator, pleaded guilty in U.S. court and agreed to a 25-year jail sentence, the Justice Department announced on Friday.
This man is definitely a piece of work. I don't think he will last long in prison. I mean attempting to frame someone who impersonates Elvis Presley? That's unAmerican!! Now if he were to have framed Justin Bieber instead, I could live with that. LOL.
But, seriously, attempting to overthrow the government by assassinating someone who was duly elected is not revolution. It is an act of treason. This man should have received the death penalty. But, since I don't like the death penalty, I can live with this sentence.
