    Duh!
Of course it pisses them off.

Now there's so many takers, they have control of the elections.

Is that the sort of country we want?

I don't think it's right to be able to vote yourself freebies which is probably the only reason you vote at all.

BTW: it seems there was a big stink back in the 2000 election where the tables were turned.
that was because the supreme court decided who was president before the final votes in Florida were counted.

you cannot deny them their right to vote because of their economic situation, and i don't believe becoming a country that denies people of their rights because of their economic status is the solution.

If you were really concerned about the economy and loopholes rather than hindering voters you don't like, you'd be demanding the KNOWN loopholes be closed that allow the top 10% to pay less taxes than average middle class citizens.

You can pay less taxes by being in the top 10 percent?

Dubya still won Florida. Her emotional problems are emotional and not relevant.

    ID stops "rights"?

ID is not suppression, according to democrats. Remember guns?

It is the basest and most disgusting thing a politician can do in our system.
Why do democrats, according to you, not get ID?

And when I say proof, I don't mean show some talking head on FOX News claiming voter fraud. Show me the hard numbers FROM A REPUTABLE SOURCE, not Breitbart, which has been caught time and time again making crap up. Good luck with that.

Finally, I must say that, if a political party is so desperate to remain relevant that they have to resort to Jim Crow to attempt to win elections, then there is a problem with that party. At least, at this time, the mainstream Republicans are fighting the good fight to wrest control of the party back from the wackos that hijacked it, and that's a good sign. The Republican party does not need Tea Partiers or any other kind of "Confederate" in the party. With reasonable ideas, the GOP will stick around a long time, and make important contributions to America's political process.

    Article is here.
You should say Jim Crow again. ID is not racist, or Jim Crow.

“We are focused on making sure that we meet our obligations that we’ve talked about for years. Pro-Second Amendment? The Castle Doctrine, it’s done. First pro-life legislation, abortion facility regulations in 22 years, done. Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.”
Pennsylvania House Majority Leader, Mike Turzai
