What you have just described is pure fantasy.
    You misunderstood my example.

You are probably right. The comment didn't make grammatical sense.
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

Look, it's one of those people who doesn't understand barriers to entry in a market.

You mean like the barriers to social networking or space travel?

LOL yea right, in a country where you are lucky if you have more than one ISP available in your area, and the ability for new competition to get into the market is often blocked by local laws?

If it was only that! It is the ISPs that have put the laws in place in the first place! Do you really think Comcast and other cable companies are against local laws that prevent competition on the cable market? Of course not! They lobbied for the laws in the first place!

The problem is not government but business influence on government. Government is suppose to be by the people and for the people.. it is suppose to protect the people, not work against them. Government should be opening up markets, forcing Comcast to sell its capacity to competitors so you create more competition.
