I don't see the problem with this, if the school doesn't have a problem with it. A woman does not have a right to be touched or spoken to or interacted with by a man who doesn't want that. Don't see how she is being discriminated against?

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of people from the ME, who have dress restrictions that are currently being challenged in courts around the world. I would be expected to conform to their rules if I lived in their country, which is as it should be, IMO, and I expect the same fairness from them if they choose to live in the US..

That would make sense if they didn't consider us less than cattle.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

    Don't count on it.

Besides, there are plenty of Jewish, Islamic, and other schools in Canada - they may not be publically funded, but they exist.

I'm reasonably certain that, for some people, the feeling is mutual!

Again Canada is their country and they are conforming in fact to the rules of their country with its rules protecting freedom of religion and expression.
I don't see why Canadian citizens should be treated any differently because they are children of immigrants or are immigrants themselves.
