Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109:573]

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

Maybe this will help...I am going to use your sentiment here:

Why are Liberals so mad at Conservatives? Conservatives didn't use the IRS to target political enemies, Conservatives didn't leave our ambassador, and other brave americans to fend for themselves while under attack, then cover it up, Conservatives didn't say stupid things about a video to further that cover up, this all happened with BHO's people. Why are you not attacking them?

See how that works?

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

The people chose Barack Obama and the MSM followed. Why can't Republicans do the same? Why can't they nominate a candidate to get the people excited enough to control the MSM? And why do you presume that this is a pre-emptive attack in order to pave the way for Hillary? Sounds like a whole lot of whining. Take personal responsibility for your candidates.

No, the MSM chose Obama and the low information voters followed. Otherwise BHO would have remained the obscure senator he was.

Perhaps the purpose of an election is not to get them 'excited' but to elect responsible and experienced leadership. Are you 'excited' now about the national debt? The decline of the middle class? The loss of international credibility?

You got excited at the thought of having a Black President and next you'll want more excitement with the first female President. Nowhere are 'ideas', competence, or a successful administrative experience being discussed. But you will continue to be 'excited'.

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

Wow! It's still about George Bush, huh???
I think the point was perspective. You don't get to wage a 4 year Pogrom about 5 deaths at a US Embassy/Consulate in Benghazi when you completely ignore 60 deaths when your guy was in the White House.

How about dealing with one issue at a time. Is that expecting too much from leftists??

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

You do actually realize that the issue is regarding the response rather than the simple fact that the consulate was attacked, right?

To put that picture of yours in perspective, in the last 11 years 60 people have been killed in attacks on US diplomatic grounds by Islamic radicals... so why was a consulate in a war zone in an Islamic nation where Al Qaeda flags were flying over state buildings denied protection by the administration.

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

Why are you Conservatives angry at Liberals? Liberals didn't close the bridge lanes. Liberals didn't play politics with the Sandy funds. Liberals didn't say stupid things to mayors of NJ. That all happened with CC's people. Why are you not attacking them?

Give it time. NY/NJ politicians tend to be bipartisan gold club members of the criminal justice system. I'd be shocked if Christie didn't take a few D's down with him.

Then the right wing noise machine will get to shout about how the real problem here are Democrats and Rhinos. The right wing will avoid any need for self-evaluation. The link between abandoning efforts to make government work and the rather large increase in unqualified and corrupt candidates who act only in their own self-interest will go safely undiscovered.

You can read the post, can't you?

Why do leftists always need everything explained to them more than once? You should be suing whatever school you may have attended for not doing a proper job..
So which is it ...is Christie handicapped because he is retarded or is he handicapped because he is the size of a compact car?
You are the one who brought up the handicapped. I was just commenting on Christie's undeniable fatness.

This must be sarcasm. The topic is CC's scandals. Obama has absolutely nothing to do with this, yet Conservatives keep bringing him up.

First of all your analogy makes no sense because NO ONE IS BLAMING OBAMA for this, or didn't you notice? The only reason it's bothering you is because Clinton is going to be your parties next nominee. Sorry but facts are stubborn things, and they point to Clinton being asleep at the wheel. Nothing on your list changes those facts.

second, none of those attacks lead to the death of a U.S. Ambassador, which has(like it or not) much bigger symbolic repercussions. Had a U.S. Ambassador been killed under Bush I PROMISE YOU people of your ilk would have been in a frenzy about it and put all the blame on BUSH, not the ones actually responsible(as the republicans are doing and which official congressional inquires have made clear).

again, bad argument which makes no sense.

What are you talking about? First, you didn't answer my questions and second you didn't even address the topic.

Looks to me that you're running from the issue in an effort to divert attention away from CC's screwed up administration.

Are you afraid to face the situation with CC?

Funny how when your own question is posed back to you, you find it disingenuous. Says a lot about your "question" I think.

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

I see how it works.
Divide everyone into two camps, and you can easily find something foolish that someone is each camp has done or said.

Thank the culture embraced today for that. Hate the game, not the player.

It's a great question and for years it was never an issue. It's only when Barack Obama becomes president that it becomes a big deal. Instead of focusing on !!!!BENGAHZHI!!!! we should focus on why it happens at all. So is there any particular reason why the attack in Libya is so exceptionally exceptional that it deserves so much more attention? If you want to have a discussion on comprehensive reform on our embassies etc I'm all for it. If all you care about is !!!!BENGHAZI!!!! then you can kindly keep quiet because there's nothing unusual about it.

You presume too much. I don't care about any of it. I'm a libertarian. Clinton is an attention whore, carpetbaggers, who rides on the coattails of her husband. People of my ilk? Nobody cared about those 60 people killed during Bush' administration except their families. You know that nobody cared because there was no frenzy of any sort, especially by Republicans. I didn't care about them and I don't care about the people killed during Benghazhi either. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of conservatives. It's the height of hypocrisy to be all up in arms pretending to be sad about these four people who died when 60 people died previously and the only difference is that now there's a Dem president. Faux outrage to the highest degree.

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

Nice deflection. How many Americans among those killed?

I don't care and neither do you. True story.

No, I wasn't at all excited about Obama's presidency. I was indifferent. All you have is projection, is that right? If you're concerned about ideas, competence, or successful administration then I'm sure you were embarrassed when Sarah Palin got nominated for V.P. right?

Re: Emails link top Christie aide to GWB lane-closing controversy - [W:77,109]

Few things amuse leftists more than fat jokes, or laughing at the physically handicapped.

Amazing how righties can only find empathy for others when it allows them to play the victim card.

Well no, according to you it should never be an issue, apparently.

But take each of those attacks and tell me: Did any of them last 7 hours? Did the Bush administration turn down added security requested by the ambassador prior to the attack? Show that they were actually similar rather than ust lazily spit out a hollow inforgraphic.

I will save you some time. The biggest attack that cost 16 lives lasted 20 minutes and was carried out by Islamists disguised as police officers. The second biggest (Karachi) was caused by a fertilizer bomb in a truck.

So that is two that offered no chance of a rescue.

It's not only Benghazi that occurred on Obama's watch, there was also Fort Hood. This is something that should have been thoroughly investigated in order that this PC BS could never happen again.

But instead of denouncing Muslim terrorism, which he also refused to do after Benghazi, blaming it on an American instead, he wants to use the Space Agency NASA as an outreach program for Muslims with self esteem problems.
