Good article about the long road ahead for Christie, by Jeffrey Toobin.

    Conclusion:

"Ultimately, Fishman will probably give immunity to Kelly and Stepien, meaning that they will testify before a grand jury. At that point, they will be called before the legislative committee, because they won’t be able to take the Fifth anymore. By then, it will probably be summer at the earliest.

If there are indictments, they probably will not be issued until fall—and trials, if any, would be held in 2015.

In short (or rather, long), Chris Christie can look forward to many months of investigations. News leaks will abound.

Like most U.S. Attorney operations, Fishman’s investigation has been largely invisible to the public, but the legislators, especially the Democrats, live to embarrass the governor. And this is really the best-case scenario for Christie, one in which the investigators do not find anything that would seriously implicate him.

Events are now firmly out of his control. All Christie wants to do is put this whole matter behind him. It will be increasingly apparent that he has a long road ahead of him."

It also helps to explain about a little known term "act-of-production immunity" - which we will likely be hearing more about as the months drag on.

Why are you Conservatives angry at Liberals? Liberals didn't close the bridge lanes. Liberals didn't play politics with the Sandy funds. Liberals didn't say stupid things to mayors of NJ. That all happened with CC's people. Why are you not attacking them?

Maybe this will help...I am going to use your sentiment here:

Why are Liberals so mad at Conservatives? Conservatives didn't use the IRS to target political enemies, Conservatives didn't leave our ambassador, and other brave americans to fend for themselves while under attack, then cover it up, Conservatives didn't say stupid things about a video to further that cover up, this all happened with BHO's people. Why are you not attacking them?

    See how that works?

More echo chamber blather...Do you ever read, or listen to anything that opposes your own views?

    All the time.

It's conservatives who live in an echo chamber.

What are you talking about? First, you didn't answer my questions and second you didn't even address the topic.

Looks to me that you're running from the issue in an effort to divert attention away from CC's screwed up administration.

Are you afraid to face the situation with CC?

    I see how it works.
Divide everyone into two camps, and you can easily find something foolish that someone is each camp has done or said.

When you don't know what those "ideas" were, just say so.

That was not an election about 'ideas', nor will the next one be. It will be about superfluous issues like the one being discussed here. The left ran out of ideas decades ago.

The people chose Barack Obama and the MSM followed. Why can't Republicans do the same? Why can't they nominate a candidate to get the people excited enough to control the MSM? And why do you presume that this is a pre-emptive attack in order to pave the way for Hillary? Sounds like a whole lot of whining. Take personal responsibility for your candidates.
