Sometimes I think we're alone. Sometimes I think we're not. In either case, the thought is staggering. ~ R. Buckminster Fuller
This is something I didn't know until now - the incoming Attorney General was CC's Chief of Staff.
Now, it's possibly postponed

And on Tues., he has to go before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Not a great way to kick off a term.
Inauguration day for Christie is 9 days off.
If it turns out he knew about this, he's done, and should be. America has had enough of liars, and corruption.
But remember history, Flowers was suppose to doom Clinton, then his evading the draft, then his smoking pot, but Clinton overcame all to become president in 1992. More recently with political events, remember the Republican shutdown was suppose to doom the Republicans chances in 2014 and some were predicting the demise of the Republican Party. By the end of October of last year their party affiliation numbers was at 20% vs. 30% for Dems, in the generic congressional poll which asks which party you want to control congress they trailed the Dems 49-40. Everyone was writing the Republicans obituary.
Two months later the numbers are 24% Rep vs. the same 30% for Dems, the generic congressional poll is tied at 43% each. More important independents prefer a Republican control of both chambers of congress by a 55-45 margin.
If nothing else follow, Christie is home free IMO as the attention span of the American electorate is very short. If something does come out that Christie knew about it or worse yet signed off on it, it will be the Republican Right Wing that uses it during the primaries to defeat him. But with almost three years to go and this happening now, if Christie wants to run, I do not think many outside of the Democratic Party will hold it against him. It will be old news and just a bump on the road.
Early voting in Georgia. On the 20th of October this old Goldwater conservative voted against both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton by casting my vote for Gary Johnson. Neither Trump or Clinton belong within a million miles of the Oval Office.
I think you're wrong. If he knew, he's not only toast as a governor and potential Pres candidate -- he could be impeached and removed.
