Well, you are welcome to your opinion, however, I believe that he was telling the truth yesterday....But, by all means keep up the pointless attack over your made up scandal....Hey, maybe tomorrow some other Repub Governor will have some potholes filled causing traffic to slow, and you can attack them as some huge conspiracy....In the mean time your main man Obama is doing real damage to the country.

In further news....It's 5:30 pm, and traffic on the GW is a bitch! It's a damned conspiracy I tell ya....

    Oh, and....

Please be advised that due to expected continued heavy volume at Maher Terminals main gate and to ensure safe vehicular movement throughout the port, the following traffic directive will be in place for the remainder of the week.

All inbound truck traffic will be serviced from the southern end of the Port approaching from North Avenue.

No left turns will be allowed from Corbin Street.

    What a dodge!!

I didn't ask if you believed what he said. I asked you about how, if his mythical investigation actually looked at the emails, they could have looked at "time for Ft Lee to have some traffic problems" and not realize it was proof of his aides guilt?

Instead of backing up your lie that Christie investigated the issue, or that he had anyone look at the emails, you're trying to pretend this is about Obama - proof that even you know your claims are BS.

So go ahead and run away from your claim that Gov Christie launched an investigation - we all know why you won't defend your BS

Because the thing we need to fix the country is a new mission statement. Politics aside, a Romney presidency would have been a managerial disaster. Obama certainly has his failings, but at least he knows his limitations. Romney thought that managing a hedge fund was equivalent to being President.

Anyone who's ever worked for a large company knows people like Romney. They come in to a profitable company, talk a lot of BS, make superficial changes, gut all investments in the future, cut jobs, double everyone’s workload, make short term profits, and then preen about like they're some financial genius. Basically, they're leaches that don't have any idea what it's like to actually build a business, make a real product, or create a real idea. The GOP should consider itself lucky that Romney wasn't elected.
I wasn't a Romney fan, and excuse me for saying this but that was a load of nonsense.
For one thing, he ran a State and it's a common belief that a Governorship is very good preparation.
Could you point to similar/equal career preparation by Obama?
    Community Organizer?
Let's pause here to acknowledge that, yes, Obama has brought his CO experience to the Office, but to "rub raw the resentments of the people" is not generally the skillset most admired in a President.
No, I'm sorry but what you've created as your fantasy of a Romney Administration was actually accomplished by the Obama Administration.
It's eerily funny in a macabre way and like you did it on purpose ... did you?
    • They come in to a profitable company,
    • talk a lot of BS,
    • make superficial changes,
    • cut jobs,
    • double everyone’s workload,
    • and then preen about like they're some financial genius.

The problem is that outside the D's and R's, the other options are usually a bunch of different ones that split up whatever portion of the vote is left after people vote for the D or the R.

Then of course there are those who vote against one candidate or the other, because they're so opposed to them...and the best chance of beating them is most often the other big letter.

In the end it's probably less than 25% of the voters who actually vote for someone other than a D or an R.

As for running a "real libertarian". They would lose, IMO. Real libertarianism is too radical for most people. Partial libertarianism mixed with conservatism or liberalism would probably go over better.

Chris Christie Complained to Andrew Cuomo That His Appointee Was Pressing Too Hard for Answers

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie called New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo this week to complain about a Cuomo appointee's handling of a growing controversy over traffic pattern changes on the George Washington Bridge, a person familiar with the matter said.

Mr. Christie, a Republican, complained in a private phone call to Mr. Cuomo, a Democrat, that Patrick Foye, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was pressing too hard to get to the bottom of why the number of toll lanes onto the bridge from Fort Lee, N.J. was cut from three to one in early September, according to this person. The lane closures occurred without notice to local authorities, officials have said, and snarled traffic for a week in the small borough on the Hudson River bluffs."

    Christie's problems continue to grow

Christie pulls judicial nominee amid GWB flap

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Gov. Chris Christie has notified the state Senate that he is withdrawing the nomination of his acting attorney general to the Superior Court.

The pulling of the nomination late Friday is another wound to an administration facing its most difficult test so far.

The Republican governor hoped to send acting Attorney General John Hoffman to the bench and clear a spot for his chief of staff, Kevin O'Dowd, to become attorney general. Christie's office said the decision was made to ensure continuity in the attorney general's office.

But Democrats have delayed O'Dowd's confirmation hearing indefinitely because of the possibly politically orchestrated closing of approach lanes to the George Washington Bridge that caused traffic chaos in Fort Lee.

O'Dowd had supervised the aide who was fired for her involvement.

Three other key associates of the governor are also now gone as a result of the bridge scandal.
