Yeah. Romney did promise his supporters he would repeal Obamacare, but that was basically telling his base what they wanted to hear. But as it happened, Obamacare really wasn't an issue in 2012 or a very minor one. I suppose because Obama could always counter act it with Romneycare while he was governor. His little explanation that Romneycare was only a state initiative vs. one nationwide wouldn't have had much of an impact with voters.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

    Disclosure: I am/Was a Christie Fan.

He was pretty good at the Press Conference yesterday, IF he is telling the truth.

I think we Will find out because the current outed culprits will be testifying under oath to several investigations, including possible a Federal one.
Facing not just Perjury, but other criminal charges, Bridget et al, migt cough it up IF he was involved.
Without those circumstances, it could have been quashed.
    We'll see.

What's a definite FAIL on CC"s part is proceeding with the Confirmation hearings of the possible Ring Leader/Chief of Staff/Dowd as State Attorney General!
A crazy and unforgivable attempted outcome where the Possible Chief conspirator will be leading the state investigation OF his friends/possible fellow perps!
The Nomination should have been Put on hold pending investigations. IOW, at least 6 months.

This guarantees some more Fun next week. The Hearings scheduled to start Tuesday.

Obama won re-election in 2012. The Democrats gained seats in the house and the senate, have control of the senate and more voters voted for Democratic house candidates than Republican house candidates....

And the GOP spent the next year trying to repeal Obama-care including a wildly unpopular government shut-down. Why would you think the Democrats would concede the ACA had Romney won when the GOP clearly didn't?

The discussion was a counterfactual. A beautiful dream if you will.

In any case, he answered all questions yesterday, and even though I don't care for him as a politician, I think he is telling the truth...But I understand you progressives are all frothing at the mouth like rabid dogs, so froth away.

I certainly agree that they should be charged with the appropriate crime.

    Why terrorism?

I had to smile when news of his two hour press conference hit yesterday. Right away I thought of the Alan Alda character - Republican Arnold Vinick - on the final year of WEST WING and how he gave a lengthy press conference to try and bury his involvement in getting a nuclear power company on line only to have it turn into disaster later.

It failed and he lost the election to Democrat Jimmy Smits - Matt Santos.
