Choose between an imaginary scandal and an as-yet uninvestigated one? I think we'll see how the Christie thing plays out, but its not looking good for him.
Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

"Imaginary" yet no denial only "What difference does it make now"? was her only defense.

a defense is not required if one did nothing wrong
but your posts are taking us away from the thread topic, which is christie's involvement in the bridge scandal

    it's disappointing
in a matchup between christie and hillary i was prepared to vote christie
unless he can make a convincing case why he is in no way culpable, his future political prospects are as gone as the dozen donuts that arrived in his office an hour ago

In THIS specific thread, I'll choose "Chris Christie & diverting traffic on a bridge in Jersey(sic)" The bridge is over the Hudson River so it runs between New Jersey and New York.

Talk about Clinton and Benghazi in one of the many threads covering that subject - otherwise you are simply trying to divert attention away from this topic.
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”

The linked article from the Daily Beast a few posts ago nailed it.

    It said:
Remember the hurricane-era Christie? My state and my people come first, the hell with the politics. That was laudable. But his posture here has been the direct opposite. Here it’s been politics first.
Thats why moderates like myself tended to like Christie. But stuff like this tells us that his abrasive style is not just a quirky Jerseyness - its endemic to his operation.

The hard core conservatives never liked him anyway, except to draw guys like me to vote for their side. Now that thats in doubt, they'll drop him like a hot potato.

Interesting to note (but hardly surprising) that Christie, a moderate Republican, is held to these standards, and yet, Obama, is not.

he screwed the pooch on this one
Frankly, the BLSM is desperate to cover ANYTHING besides ObamaCare, and this is as good a distraction as any, and falls right in their political agenda with the meme 'Christie abuses government power'.

When it wasn't him to made the call, it was one of his subordinates.
When he didn't order it, it was the subordinates.

Already rumors are floating around that the subordinate is going to get chastised by Christie, probably even fired.

See? That's how accountability works. Something we've never seen from this president, nor his administration.

Who knows. Depending on how Christie handles this, it may very well elevate him in popular opinion above this president (presently at historic record lows).

No telling what the Biased Lame Stream Media will do to continue to flog the issue in accordance with the demands of their ideologically driven reporting.

I dont believe that you are a nazi, I simply throw that word in when someone consideres a group of people to be infirior.

I misinterpreted your post and believed that you saw all in opposition to yourself as individuals with infirior thinking capacity.
Where in the world did you get the idea that everyone is equal in every way. There are certainly some who are inferior to others. It doesn't necessarily mean they have lower IQ's; it includes not only intelligence but also common sense. For instance, some may think that a country that starts two world wars and loses both of them inferior to countries who make better decisions. I'm not saying that I subscribe to this notion, but some might.

Except that there is evidence that his advisors had something to do with it....I mean, I know you don't care because you'll be voting for him to be President in a couple of years, but still.

Obamacare, on the other hand, is irrelevant to this thread.

So if negative news comes out against a Republican, it's the media's fault?

    There's personal responsibility for you.
