Do you think Rodman and these guys know what Lil Kim did to his Uncle? I am surprised he got these guys to go over there with him. Rodman says not every country in the world is that bad. Not even NKorea.
Mornin MMC. Leading up to this there were reports that Rodman was having difficulties getting other teammates to agree to go. They had reasonable concerns. Hopefully they have no regrets for acquiescing.

Maybe this is a sinister way to introduce height into the North Korean gene pool.

It really isn't that far fetched... it certainly wouldn't be the first time the CIA tries crazy **** like this.

Perhaps for diplomacy sakes and Rodman and the rest, they better throw the game. winning over NK team may mean jail time.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Let them have their little game. It can't hurt anything. I remember what was called Ping Pong diplomacy with Red China which began after Nixon opened that country up to us.

But the difference was the Ping Pong teams were sanctioned by our government, Rodman is not.

Yeah. I don't buy the extreme theories, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone from the CIA or other agency didn't have a talk to a few of the team members telling them to keep they eyes open and will be debriefed once they return. I seen stranger things.

Strange though it is, this sort of thing is one of the things which will topple the NK regime.

The military situation is deadlocked. The fall of the Kim's will not happen due to guns.

The Cold War ended partially due to the effect of the Eastern Europeans seeing Euro-Vision (a very crap popsong competition). The idea that sports stars can be rich and that they can be relaxed outside of NK whilst nervous and concerned about being imprisoned when in NK will cause the guards and commi head honchos to think.

If Nk is allowed to be totally closed then nothing will change. We (the rest of the world) should try 100 weird things with a 1% chance of working. Then go looking for 100 more.
