Ohio killer to get 2-drug injection untried in US

So it is just a RW meme thing. Just wondered.
To convict someone of voter fraud you must first know who voted. The fact that a vote was recorded as being made by a corpse means that someone else voted in that person's place - to convict someone for that "fraud" requires knowing the unknown.

Just curious, has there ever been a dead guy convicted of voter fraud, or is htis just another one of those RW things?

Apparently there have been some inconsistencies found, this has been discussed in numerous threads around here. To me it's more a hackish joke to bring a bit of levity to the thread. I would say the Left has brought a lot of this on themselves, by pushing for almost anyone to vote. They've even been known to promote voting rights for felons and so forth. It gives the image of desperation to win elections by any means, so when reports pop up that the imply dead people are voting Democrat some people buy it. Meh, even if true it's probably not enough to matter.

No, that would be a LW meme thing - insisting that voter fraud is rare without knowing who actually voted. ;)

It is very similar to identity theft, another common form of fraud; while you may well know that you did not make a given purchase/withdrawal, you still have no idea who actually did so on your behalf. You are asked only to "prove" that you did not make that transaction, you are not required to provide proof of who actually did.

:doh Just pointing out this is another one of those things olny RWers know.

This is a different thing, and the Leftwingers aren't helping matters by fighting over the voter ID issue. We use ID's all the time for many reasons, and there is no reason whatsoever that people shouldn't be required to have one for something as important as voting. It only makes common sense given the millions of illegals and people with expired visas roaming the country. I mean you have to show an ID to buy a gun, to pay by check in a store, and many other things.

I have no problem requireing ID's if the default position is to allow the vote.

What do you mean by default position? If your ID has an issue, they usually allow you to vote, but it not actually recorded until proof of idendification is confirmed.

then if the vote was illegal arrest them and give them the max, I cant speak for anyone else but that seems to me to be the pretty common opinion from the left.

I believe in the DP but it cant be painful simply because of reprecussions. That being said, use a cyanide capsule
