No chance. Not after prop8 was struck down by the USSC. Isn't going to happen.

If you live in New England...it is pretty likely that you already do business with states that recognize marriage equality. How are you ever going to exist?

I somehow doubt you have a list of companies from which you will not buy goods due to their support of same sex marriage. For example, you are obviously using a computer and I'm pretty sure that it was made by a company that supports same sex marriage or has components in it that came from a company that supports same sex marriage. In fact, I would not be surprised if your ISP is owned by a company that supports same sex marriage. You may have no choice but to throw you computer into the ground and cancel your internet. It was nice knowing you.

So what will you do when it's finally legal in every state? Move to Mexico?

I doubt it? The Indiana legislature has mentioned that they were considering a law to create a Constitutional referendum and just about the entirety of Indiana's business community, educational institutions and city governments have flat out yelled NO. And that's in Indiana, which is noticeably more conservative than New Mexico.

Unfortunately I reside in a state where it's legal. I've been working on my fiance to get us the hell out of here, to somewhere like North Carolina, but until the wedding this coming July it's not going to happen.

Possibly; or more likely just become a hermit.

The GOP in that state already vowed to take it to the ballot no matter how the court ruled.

You could just always remove yourself from society and go live in a shack in the woods like Ted Kaczynski

I'll believe it when I see it...it would be a flat out waste of money.

Prop 8 was not struck down by the US Supreme Court. They only ruled on standing, not on merit.
