New Mexico Supreme Court rules Gay Marriage Constitutional

That's fine with me. If that's what I have to do in order to maintain at least a semblence of decency in my life, so be it. Guess this means I'm doing my homework this weekend by researching what businesses are based in New Mexico.

If that's how you plan on spending your weekend, reading up on business on which to take out your pent-up outrage over something that doesn't affect you in any way, shape or form, then hey, knock yourself out.

Another left wing judge over rules the will of the people.....I am telling we are becoming another socialist state...The state turned it down.

To me abortion is less an issue of the life of the child and more an issue of the parents taking responsibility for their actions.

I agree.

I have said it many times in this forum.....Abortion is murder and it is the most horrible crime one human can have another.

So? As an American believing in free will and not infringing on the rights of citizens whenever possible, I disagree and find your signature a sign of hysteria, not reality.

Damn that Constitution....getting in the way of the radical right-wing social agenda!!!!

Too bad... it's rather pretty here (New Mexico) and the history is of the richest in the nation.

Not it's American history, since it only entered the United States in 1848 as a territory and 1912 as a state. Whatever it was prior to that is really irrelevant.

Yeah... **** the Indians. They have no history in this country. lol

**** Billy the kid. His adventures in the wild west was in this area and were prior to New Mexico becoming a state.

**** the Spanish who made Santa Fe the 2nd oldest city in the entire United States. Founded in 1610. Second oldest only to the other Spanish city of St. Augustine, Florida. That's not history that matters.

Suffice it to say, you apparently don't know nor care about America's real history.

Glad to hear some decisions still make sense. I'd like to see the Supreme Court of the United States say the same as new Mexico and others have

Where in the Constitution does it even mention marriage? I may have missed it or over read that part, but I do agree if marriage is legal, then it should be legal for all to include same sex couples

I'd like to chime in my two cents here if I could. I believe Navy Pride's signature is the number of abortions since Roe V Wade became law. If it is, then I'd say its accurate and reality. Abortion is the murder of a unborn baby. People hate hearing that and go out of their way to try to prove that at certain points in development it is not a human being growing inside the woman. Then what is it? A horse, cow, frog? No it's clearly a human being. Science may classify it as embryo, or fetus, but its human embryo and human fetus. I am for the free will and not infringing on rights as well, but I believe a line is crossed when murdering unborn babies is legal and I will be the voice that speaks against it anytime I can. These babies had no say in how they were conceived. It is in fact not a war against women, but a war for innocent babies being killed everyday legally. I get upset thinking about it. It really riles me up. I do respect views of others' however this is one I strongly disagree on

Well then, don't have one.

But it is the law, if someone wants to have one, they can.

Exactly it is the law, but one I'd love to see changed and will fight to change. That is my point, not if it is legal or not

The indians are not Americans.... to the point where they still attempt to preserve their own "nations" inside the US.

I noted that New Mexico Territory was created in 1848. That made it US property.

The Spanish were not Americans.

AMERICAN history deals with Americans. Therefore American history runs from 1775 to 1865.

The level of mental contortion you are willing to go to just to justify the unstable ground on which you stand is amazing.

I am left to assume that the black people aren't "AMERICAN" enough for you to be considered American history being that they were just African imported property.

American history deals with America, not just Americans. Sorry but there was a revolutionary war and colonies and all sorts of things in history that are important to American history.

North American history, yes. American continental history, yes. American (as in the United States of America) History begins with the conception of the nation in the early 1770's and ends with the death of real American governance at Appomatox Courthouse, VA in April of 1865.

That may be your OPINION of history, but it definitely isn't a fact. I for one am glad you have NO power in choosing what history is.

Combine that comment with my assertion:

I'd venture to bet that I was right.
