What they are saying now.....this is 70 million that have been doubled hack. This time it is worse as they have Email Accounts. Which they can sell to spammers, and others. So its 70 Million on top of the 40 Million. With access to peoples Emails. Which lets them into a whole a lot of other things.

To top it off Neiman Marcus also was hacked just recently.

You mean to say that 110,000,000 Americans shop at Target?? Anyway, I wonder how this ends, I mean a certain number of those shoppers are going to have a bad taste in their mouths toward Target, that won't be good for business. But what about else where's, other stores, etc! This is so very uncool, could and should Target be held accountable (legally) to any harm done their customers, and if they are, what could that be and could they bear it? It's a very real mess!

Yeah, and Target says it will give free credit check for a whole year. Once people start reporting their emails hacked an info from their putters. It's going to get nasty then. Currently they think Target will weather the storm.

I sell Lifelock, I work in a call center. I expect it to be very busy this morning..Life lock is about the besy you can do -you do get proactive alerts, but you gotta get the Ultimate service.
$25 a month to stop ID theft is worth it. The merchants aren't that careful, and criminals can damage your credit, andpossible take over your accounts, or set up a false account in your name..etc.

I use no online bill paying, even though I got a free membership/ I don't use a debit card, and I moniter my credit monthly.

People will have to stay on top of their finances and their Emails. Wonder how many top Nation Retailers it will take before they decide to change up to the Chip.
