What on earth are you talking about? Do you not understand the word TRAGIC? I pissed on those who profited from their sacrifice, not the fallen.

Please read my posts more carefully before you make disturbing accusations.

I'm just less interested in looking back at this point, I want out. I wanted out yesterday,
I wanted to hit the AQ training camps, and not install Karzai.

The whole thing has been a fiasco. Just pull the damn plug on it, and let it go back to it's feudal ways.

I wasn't really kidding when I said they are protecting the heroin crops. I wasn't kidding when I implied that money is being made by war profiteers.

We will never leave. Not while any politician can be bought - from a Junior Congressperson to the POTUS. Not while the CIA and its related agencies can bring in billions in narcotics.

We'll stay here even if Obama has to give Karzai a BBBJ.

    It's all about the Benjamins.

    Tragic.
No so Obama could check the box of a campaign promise. I went to a town hall meeting with our congressman and told him I would not vote for him again but would wait for a real Democrat. He could care less, since I was not a hedge fund manager that could throw millions is way.

Actually, the Taliban was willing to cooperate. They just wanted evidence that we refused to give them.

Bush's initial reaction in Afghanistan was correct and well handled. But the decision to start another war with Iraq and to turn Afghanistan into a bottomless pit was that of the Masters, not the rest of us.
I suspect they do have the same puppet masters.

Bush's initial reaction in Afghanistan was correct ONLY IF the official version of what happened on 11 September is true and accurate, and 12 years later it's pretty obvious it's not.

If Bush had agreed straight up to investigate those events, he might have a leg to stand on. Because he refused to investigate those events, he does not have a leg to stand on.

I don't know any more about the events of 9/11 than anyone who can read. There is some reason to believe this was a successful attack because our Federal Guardians dropped the ball. As for OBL's involvement, I tend to assume that was true and thus our support of the overthrow of the Taliban seemed logical at the time.

I know here are many conspiracy theories about these events but I don't have any reason to presume they are accurate. Of course, I'm just a civilian. But at least on paper, I thought Bush made the right decision - initially.
