A man, believed to be a fire bomber, burst into flames in a shop in Belfast city centre on Monday night. He ran off with his clothes on fire through shoppers in the Cornmarket area.
The area was cordoned off for several hours while the security forces dealt with the remainder of the incendiary device.
The store owner said the man had an incendiary device inside his coat. It ignited setting the coat on fire. Link

Despite the Good Friday agreement, some elements within the population want to keep a fight that the wider population has moved on from going - and at christmas time too.

I have no sympathy for the guy if he was the bomber, at some point he will need hospital treatment and then we'll know who he is.

Using yourself as a bomb and/or lighting yourself on fire... yeah...

As an American of Irish descent, I really hate stuff like this. The desperation of many people STILL in Northern Ireland is terrible.

That said, I'm going to wait for more facts to come out before I say anything else. But it really bothers me that people might still be in full PIRA mode.
