At Least 2 People injured in in School Shooting, Centennial, Colorado

In Israel never school shootings. There in every school armed guard.

Are you asserting that adequate security exists for our gun free zones? Perhaps the law should be changed award $1,000,000 to the violent crime victim, or their estate should they not survive, if they they are injured or killed by a gun while in a gun free zone.

Whatever you propose ttwtt..
I'm on record as supporting concealed carry at schools and posting signs saying that..Next .

One would be hard pressed to get that from the post to which I replied. ;)

Your first post, #2, was clearly aimed at blame, not solutions..
A typical response from your crowd .

My post #2 pointed out CO current policy, which is very much deserving of partial blame, by making your preferred (constitutional carry?) option illegal.

So Colorado is the only state that does this??
Are you sure that every school district in Colorado is a gun-free zone??
Ever hear of "Home-Rule" ?

I blame the lack of gun free zone signs.

It's the media narrative that always bothers me about this, what they choose to and not to report.

Gun homicide rate has gone down (a lot) but if you just based your opinions on the news you would think it has reached astronomical proportions.

At the heart of almost every one of these events is mental illness (lets be honest it usually takes a mentally ill person to cross the line and do something horrendous that normal people wont do) they always focus on the gun, video games, music, movies etc, and almost always ignore the history of mental problems. Why? because it doesn't suit their narrative.

Completely true. It's hard to continue the assault on the second amendment if your focusing on the disturbed people that commit these horrific acts and not the weapons they used.

?? ?

It has escaped you that the Bill Of Rights is under assault. The ongoing assault on the second amendment isn't strengthened if all eyes are upon the cause of these shootings. The focus must remain on the weapon used. Unless it was a knife or a baseball bat etc., then the focus would be on the perpetrators mental state and everything surrounding that.

The focus should never be on the weapon, as it cannot act.

Are you sure, after reading your own article from National Review, that ZERO Colorado schools have concealed-carry ?

What are you talking about? I simply gave you CO law. CO law states that "gun free zones" must be strictly enforced, not that every school must be one. The federal gov't tried to make all schools into "gun free zones" but allowed exceptions for those with state permission to carry in them, IIRC.

Do you realize this could have been worse, it could have been the "knockout game" played by some black kids...

If it wasn't so sad it would be hilarious. So far on this thread the media and public schools are to blame.

At least we don't live in Canada.

BTW, how's your crack-head mayor doing?
