Heya SN. What did you think of their polling and it coming up with the Egyptian General as #1?

Quite the opposite pick of the Pope.....wouldn't you say?

Refreshing to have a Pope who actually lives like a Christian. Our Cardinals and Bishops should take heed of his example. Bravo!

Yes, but the people who run time Magazine are smart enough to make the final pick themselves.

Well, my thought would be more as to why the Egyptian General would have polled like that in the first place. Moreso over Snowden and the rest.

So at what point did Reagan or Bush trash capitalism?

Or are you just upset because a few Catholics might think twice before voting Republican? Awww...did the Pope make your voter base think for themselves?

it's not meant to be an honor, but most people still look at it that way. it's generally given to the person that had a big impact on the news that particular year. even if it is considered an honor, through, i like that they gave it to him. can't help but like the guy; he's a good person, and pretty much every time i read something that he has said, i'm pleasantly surprised. i was Catholic as a kid / teenager, so i suppose i have somewhat of an emotional tie to this.

That's one of the things that I have never spent much time thinking about.

I don't find it hard to accept the fact that some people have different opinions.

Yeah I don't either but then just like in an instant....like out of the corner of my eye. I caught that bit on the Egyptian General. I figured the Millibleeb of that tenth of a second might be worth mentioning.

This is what libs do, put words in your mouth you never said then try to get you to defend them. I never said you had to trash capitalism to be time's person of the year, what I said was if you do you are a shoe in. You libs are nothing if not predictable in your tactics to obfuscate, deflect and derail.
