First Obama bows to Castro now he compares a convicted terrorist that refused to denounce terrorism to obtain an early release from prison to Gandhi, MLK and Lincoln.. I am reaching my limit here today.

"Comparing him to the great leaders who came before him, Obama likened Mandela's legacy to that of Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Abraham Lincoln."

What? That's not bowing, Obama is just taller than Raul.

Jesus man, you're desperate.

That's called bowing, there was no need for him to come down to Castro's level to shake his hand. It seems to be a habit with this president, he just doesn't know how to stand tall.

BS. It's just something for the blogosphere to get themselves worked up about. They should thank Obama for keeping them in business.

Do you bend down to shorter people when shaking their hand?

Yes.

If I'm significantly taller, it just feels weird to shake their hands while just looking downward. Leaning makes it seem more respectful.

How many people did Mandela "free" and how many people did Bush "free"
Just curious?

That's nice you think so, but every POTUS keeps the blogs in business, they are such rich material. However, Obama in particular has a bowing problem. He bows to every foreign dignitary it seems, no matter how repugnant. The guy remains amatuerish when dealing with foreign relations.

No, it's not.

It was a frigging funeral. It wasn't the place for this political bull****. You act polite, like an adult, and go about your day.

Additionally, Obama is clearly exchanging words. It's much easier to hear when you're closer.

Im 6'2, and I find it disrespectful to bend down. We are what height we are. The handshake is the gesture of respect, as is the warm greeting that accompanies it.

Notice that Obama's mouth it open? He's saying something. Now you tell me, have you ever leaned in closer to tell someone something?

LOL...the right-wingers are so desperate its hilarious. So, bowing (which is a customary greeting in many countries of the world) is bad.....but This is ok?
