People work hardest when they have something to do. America is the single greatest land of opportunity. We are an amazingly rich country in resources. Cuba is in pretty bad shape. If even a small middle class were created, they might be able to throw off their shackles.
The middle class always shrinks when there is too much government control of the economy. We can see that happening in the US now in fact.

I could be wrong but I think Cuba has no middle class to shrink. So, they'll need a different strategy. The objective being to diminish the control of their government.

I could be wrong, but didn't every former U.S. President shake hands with his Soviet counterpart when they met, like Reagan and Gorbachev? I'm sure Nixon shook the hand of his Chinese counterpart when he went to China for the first time. So, what's the problem with President Obama shaking hands with his Cuban counterpart?

I bolded the wingnuts' main problem with it.

Ahhh... perfectly worded from one of the few admitted Socialists here.

You can't figure out the news? Really? Has it flown over your head? Or are you being coy?

And yes... we on the Right hate Liberty, Equality under the Law, Limited Government, a Strong Military, Secure Borders and Low Taxation. All terrible, terrible things to defend.

Hopefully, Obama will get something right and open the door to Cuba.
Well, at least deep down you admit Obama has gotten very little right. Freudian slip of the keyboard?

As for those political prisoners in Cuba (which is just about the entire nation)... Obama just socked one in their guts.
Too bad Chavez wasn't around so they could take a Three Socialist Stooges Selfie.

    Okay.

Time for the Republican Stooge litmus test.

    Political prisoners indeed.

Now what about Chinese political prisoners?

Here's some of your favorite presidents as you so eloquently put it "socking political prisoners in their guts".

Handshake and a hand on the arm.

    Woah!

Oh we could stop there Zimmer with all the unsavory characters presidents have shook hands with.

Perhaps we'll stop with this one:

    So Zimmer.

There's an easy way out of this.

Admit that this is trivial garbage since every president in the history of the United States has shook the hands of dictators.

Or continue to call out Obama, ignoring the past and really showing that you're nothing more than a hypocrite and a Republican Stooge.

Obama was taking selfies and grinning like the Cheshire cat at this so called memorial so I don't think he was real interested in proper protocol. Obama was just being Obama.

So was Ted Cruz, what is your point? This is some really trivial bull**** people.

EDIT: My mistake, Cruz walked out, he didn't take a selfie. I still think its trivial Bull****, like complaining about Bush walking on the wrong side of the stage or bumping his head on AF1.
