Again, provide us with real number to support your claims, as the numbers in the article are BULL****.

The automakers say that the average wage earned by its unionized workers is about $29 per hour.
$60,000 a year. $9,404.00 net taxes. Just information, not a political position.

In theory that's 9k in taxes, in reality, they are 99% of the time lower. Even at 9k x 1.2 million workers, they fall far short of 39.4 billion in two years. So the numbers are bogus.

Hehe the OP is funny, with 34 posts, he clearly hasn't been around or took time to see that silly liberal meanderings are challenged here.

My figure is pretty accurate for a single person. As I said, I'm providing info, not taking a position. Certainly I'm not supporting the original claim. I'm just a stickler for accuracy.

It is now official, Obama has saved the Auto industry in America.

"The Center for Automotive Research study -- called ''The Effect on the U.S. Economy of the Successful Restructuring of General Motors'' --€“ found that the controversial 2008-2009 bailout, saved 2.6 million jobs in 2009 alone and $284.4 billion in personal income was preserved over 2009-2010."

You're now free to give Obama a warm thank you and apologize for calling this bailout a failure.

    Please begin.
It's too bad the taxpayers lost $10B in the process...
I don't often change my signature, but this was just too over the top to let anyone forget with what this country is up against...

I would say it mostly deals with your failure to mention it in the OP and the fact we are not discussing military spending.

Ok, first let's try again shall we...let's can the "faux news" crap, and discuss this like adults if you can. You are claiming that we gained more than $10 billion in tax revenue from the jobs saved, but you don't quantify it at all, just claim it...Let's see what you have to prove your claim.

The "study" presumes GM couldn't have re-organized under bankruptcy.

GM hasn't paid back the loan. A lot of Chinese jobs came out of it.
