Who cares if Mandela had a picture of Obama? What the **** does Jane Fonda have to do with anything? Jesus Christ, either stick to the subject or don't post.

GWB did great things in Africa with Aids, though rightists will find fault with Mandela on that statement also .

I note the later mentioned foreign dignitaries, but again, those who have been included have a significant connection to the US.

AND, that is not the reg, just an explanation as to why we fly at half staff.

OK. I disagree, and I feel that Mandela has been meaningful enough to the entire world that honoring him in this way is not out of line.

Wrong. My objection is that is an honor reserved for fellow Americans or those who contribute significantly to America. Mandela meets none of that.
