Regardless of whether or not you believe they are fictitious or not...only a complete and utter moron would argue that the Bible and the Great Gatsby belong in the same section. You don't put an encyclopedia in the same section as a biography of Liv Tyler...even though both maybe "true," only a retard would put a reference book in the biography section or vice Versa.

There is no argument here. The only person who would agree with the placement of the book in that section is someone who had a problem with religion and wishes to childishly "stick it" to people's faith. Ridiculous.

That isn't the problem here. Book stores and libraries aren't labeled by "fact and fiction." There are far more categorizations. And anyone with a brain knows that. It doesn't take a genius to place a religious book in a religious section.

Ironic that people who hate religion because it isn't "based on facts" would blindly ignore an elementary level fact just to "stick it" to religious people. So ironic.

Specific references and links to scientific peer-reviewed journals where this has been established please.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

That's a little steep. Of course the bible isn't fact, but people are born into and exposed all their lives in religion. That's why if your Indian your more likely to be a Hindu and in the ME a Muslim etc. plenty of people with properly functioning brains believe their sacred writings are fact. It's a hard thing to break away from, I think only some few actually do.
