Exactly. They are also well known for paying high wages.

But you have to buy a huge quantity of everything so guys like me don't shop there. What do I need with 600 zip-lock bags?

I buy stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, Tide, can goods and stuff like that at Sams. Stuff that won't spoil or go bad. But since most of the stuff they sell is in bulk and it being the wife and me I only have to shop there about once ever other month. I hate shopping so it is a good thing to have a Sams around. I usually get my jeans, t-shirts, socks and stuff there too. Pretty good deals.

Their books and DVD's always seemed a bit expensive to me, so I don't even both to look at them anymore.

But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I don't read "best sellers" so I never really looked but I'm pretty sure that "books" are just "books" in these mega-stores and they probably have, at most, fiction and non-fiction, not a theology section. So, this is what Shakespeare called "Much Ado About Nothing".

I read a lot and I get most of my books from Hamilton books. they use to be known as Bargain Books. Most are out of print or several years old, but the prices are great. I am into history, bio's, stuff like that. They sell hard covers and soft covers. Pretty good deals.

bibles are not fiction nor belong in fiction, they belong in either religion or theology.

people need to understand the difference between religion and fiction, religion is a beliefeven if not proven, while fiction is simply made up,and not intended to be believed.

Dude! You don't have a Kindle yet? Really, thousands of free books and much lower prices for many others. Best invention since the GPS.

I believe your exact words were "religion never changes."

Would you like me to directly quote what you said with a post number? And then link the above statement? Because as it seems...it DID change. As a matter of fact...it seems you just attested to it.

A little tip. When trying to be a smartass...don't contradict yourself in your very next response.

I'm old fashioned. Heck I didn't even have a computer in the house until around 5 years ago. I still have my landline although my daughter gave me a cell phone a couple of years back. The kind I can make and receive calls on. There is something about paper I love. I had three book cases full of books and was ready to build a fourth when the wife made me put all them books into boxes.

We have both Sam's and BJ's Wholesale Club in this area. Pricing is simliar at both, so they do compete with each other and WalMart.
