No. It should be classified as "religion." Just like you wouldn't toss an encyclopedia into "non fiction" regardless of the technicalities. You would put it in the "reference" section.

What happened to the religious section? There one could find the bible, all sorts of books on Christian, Buddhist, Shintoism, etc.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

The REAL question is, how much is the markup on them?

Just how profitable are bible sales?

CostCo isn't a bookstore. If this happened at Barnes & Noble, there would be a case for disrespect. But this was an inadvertent classification (guess) by a store manager and it seems to me way out of proportion.

In our area, it has been merged with "Philosophy."

But it is fiction, why any outrage or disrespect?

Yes I am. Do you know how long it took the Catholic Church to finally admit it was wrong about Galileo and officially apologize? 359 years. Do try again.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.
