It's a private business and they should be able to throw out almost anyone they want for almost any reason they want.

Show me where I said that. I said no such thing.

You were defending these glasses as inoffensive, were you not?

It is interesting you cut out the other part of that post.

I didn't read the other part of your post. You're obviously not reading my posts very carefully, so that cuts both ways.

I wasn't defending google glass as inoffensive, I was saying the technology is only going to grow whether you like it or not, and it will get smaller and less conspicuous to the point where you won't be able to tell if someone's wearing it anymore.

Then I said, rather than whine about it, you're better off embracing the technology and learning to live with it.

As long as people are going to take upskirt shots in bathrooms, you had better learn to live with it.

    That doesn't make any sense.

it is a net negative and I am sure they will be banned or at least severely punished when, not if, the video or audio is used to hurt somebody.

As a business owner, if I had 20 people shopping at my nursery and 1 running around filming them doing so, I would sure rather respect the privacy of the 20 and ensure they continued to be customers than cater to the 1 out of fear I would lose his business.

It is just common sense, the likes of which several in this thread seem to lack when they accuse the business owner of alienating customers.

There is personal information that can be used to steal identity.

Some control over information must be had to protect customers.
In a theater its a piracy issue.

In a restaurant a privacy one.

I can get an app for my phone that allows recording with no evidence it is occurring.

Just put it in my shirt pocket with the lens out.

Oh, no, the respect is all mine.

Being employed as a manager of blue-collar workers taught me to speak so my audience can understood.

Some like you and Mr. Paine understand this - others are too arrogant to see it, as you pointed out so well here.

Do you see the irony of this post or did you purposely do it?

    Interesting logic.

Based on this, then we should all embrace the unfettered spying of all of our communications by the NSA.

I'll pass on the unencumbered technology acceptance.

There are positive and negative repercussions of every issue - intelligent folks try and understand both sides when rendering judgement.

    You should try it yourself.
