Again...there are cameras everywhere these days, ESPECIALLY in businesses. Stores, gas stations, office common areas, restaurants, public meeting spaces, inside and outside.

Now i dont know if this guy was just kicked out, or asked to take the glasses off and he refused or he was banned etc and theres probably a good tact a buisness could practice but besides that i dont see anything wrong here.

Have to look into it more.

    Somewhat different IMO.

Altho as I've already pointed out...that business owner can and probably already is videoing the interiors and exterior of his business.

I think celebrities would love something like that to disable paparazzi cameras.

My comment that the owner is "farting into a hurricane" wasn't about whether he was legally allowed to make the Glass Guy leave, but that he's so behind the cultural curve that in a year he'll be a heart beat away from that caveman who was bitching that everything went south since the invention of fire. It's called being on the losing end of history.

And just to be clear, not all techological advancements lead to society thriving. Many would argue that lots of current technological advancements have led to decay. I'd put the Google Glass right up there in the category of useless toy ripe for abusive use.
OK fine. Rather than grandstand, though, what would you suggest we do?

Yes but again, I ask the same thing to you I asked to CanadaJohn. What would you propose we do?

By the way, that same restaurant might have a security camera and you would never know who is on the other end watching.

This. Exactly. And there will only be more and more in the future as they get smaller, cheaper, and easier to hide. So we can either choose to kick and scream and grandstand about our long lost liberties, or we can adapt to the realities of the new world.
