Good on the business owner for protecting his customers.
Just imagine hundreds of thousands of people wearing those things every day, recording and uploading video every minute of every hour of every day. Now couple that image with the NSA eventually making Google their bitch like they did with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. Not a pretty future if you ask me.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

If there were not signs at the entrance warning potential patrons of the restaurant's rules, I believe that the restaurant stepped over the line.

Informing people of rules like this and enforcing them after the people are already in your place spending money is wrong.

    Maybe they'll post them now.

That would be a good idea.

I don't deny that property owners are entitled to have rules on things like this, but people need to be informed of those rules before they enter the property.

Its his restaurant. I do not know the law there. But if he wants the place Google glasses free and you don't like it? Go somewhere else.

True! there should be a warning. That would be better for the owner and for the customer.

I can't wait until 'no-googleglasses' signs have force of law and you go to jail if you simply bring them in.
