I think all crimes of violence require hatred and therefore a special designation is ridiculous. Why should a woman beaten by her husband be less of a hate crime than a gay man being beaten by the same aforementioned husband? Seems to me, there's hatred on both, but only one is a designated hate crime???? F' that.

These clowns are clearly products of inner-city progressive ideas..

It was only a matter of time before progressives brainwashed/dumbed down inner-city minority kids to a point that they believed that beating white people in the head was justified or dumbed them down to the point that they thought knocking people unconscious was funny...

This is what happens when progressives portray whites as devils and blacks as victims - then reaffirm to the blacks that blacks cannot be racist and are justified in any and every action they commit in their lives weather positive or negative...

They're not young Democrats, Progressives, or anything else, either. They're young thugs, pure and simple. they're only Americans by accident of birth, not by loyalty or by upbringing, culture, or anything else. They see themselves as members of the gang, not citizens of America.

These are for the most part, young black males.

So, you folks can look the other way, reclassify these attacks and rally around gun control as hundreds die from gunshot wounds every year in inner city neighborhoods. But the truth is, there is something seriously wrong.

Thousands of kids from Inner city neighborhoods have devolved down on a moral level to the point of justifying random acts of violence and death. This is happening in America, decades of progressive policies that perpetuate the destruction of black families through perpetual dependence and a focus on blame, not self responsibility.

What are the Liberals doing about this ? Not bringing it up. Sweeping it under the rug, calling it simple muggings and mitigating the actions of kids who have justified away any semblance of morality.

There's a serious problem here, hell how more obvious could it be ? So, why are the Democrats trying to to hide it away ? Because it reflects badly upon their ideology and that's chicken s***.

More dead teens and innocent old lady's being attacked arbitrarilly just as long as it doesn't take away from their political capital. It's as cowardly as it can be.

For one, elect a competent leader who understands how our free market economy works.

Instead of a ideologue, who just perpetuates the cancerous policies that built these inner city neighborhoods in the first place.

Employment is a hell of a thing, especially for a kid. It motivates, and teaches self responsibillity. It gives a young person structure and and a sense of purpose.


Instead, for purely political reasons, the Democrats need to push the blame narrative as they continue to buy votes. And its at the expense of those they claim to represent and "care about".

Yes, they are. The welfare state is doing about as much good for us as it did for the Romans.

Do you agree with Fenton that the president could solve this problem, if only we elected the right person?
Or do Detroit's ills go deeper than anything one person could begin to solve?

The "right President" wouldn't have made a distrous healthcare law his priority right after a near systemic collapse of our economy.

The right president wouldn't have signed legislation that instilled a sense of insecurity into a economy thats completely dependent on confidence.

The right President would have been willing to work with the opposote party when it comes to improving our economic situation. There are 40 jobs bills sutting in the Senate from the House waiting for a vote that will never come.

The RIGHT president wouldn't have allowed his administration to get into unprecedented scandals like Fast and Furious, the IRS targeting of inoccent Americans and The great Benghazi Lie.

They right President would have been a real leader, not some weird narcisistic and isolated man child who " leads from behind".

There are real and profound consequences for letting the weakest and the most gullible of our electorate chose this Nations path.

Obama could care less aboyt the black community, because they have been hurt more than any other part of our society. Their continued poverty and dependance is a necessary evil for the Democrats, because it ensures a vote.

THATS who was elected in 2008 and 2012.

Actually, I mostly agree with what you're saying.
However, I think you're ascribing to the presidency powers that it (thankfully) doesn't have.

Those job bills, for example, were passed knowing that the Senate would never vote on them. How can the president sign them if the Senate won't pass them?

I think we'd have been better off with Romney in the WH. I don't think he could have made a dramatic difference. I think the inner cities would still be rotting from the inside, that we'd still have roving bands of young men who are, in the words of Bill Cosby, "fatherless, godless, and jobless." I think it still would have been just about impossible to reform the health care system in a way that would improve access and bring down costs, and not because such a thing can't be done, but because the Congress is so polarized that no solution would be palatable to them.

I think there is a reason why Congress' approval rating has dipped to the single digits.

But, by all means, let's elect a better president next time around. Maybe he can prove me wrong.

Of course they will base their vote on race. What else do they have? As I said, they're not really Americans, but loyal to whatever gang they are members of. Anyway, it's highly unlikely that they vote at all.
