Most racism is leftover from the older generations, yes. If they are over mid 40's - 50 and white its about 50/50 with them holding racist positions.

I don't hear a lot of racist crap from people born after the 70's. Of course there is some but it is almost always knocked down severely by everyone else. Its about the same with LGBT discrimination.

I believe mak2 was referencing the American Secret Service using the abbreviation "SS" which Peter King mistakenly thought mak2 was referencing the Schutzstaffel also abbreviated "SS".

For me it is still actual. Both of my grandfathers died in that war. My father still alive, who was part of the events of those times.

And no, you can't claim that I'm doing the same thing when it comes to white racism, because it was only two years ago that a poll showed that 46% percent of all Republicans in Mississippi still thought interracial marriage should be banned. When you get 46% of any group stating an extremist viewpoint, that's not a matter of cherry-picking.

Now there is some interesting stuff. I never knew it was mostly left over stuff, people over 40. I am not sure how it was eradicated though. Where would I read up on this info?

Not eradicated, lessened, there will always be some racism I imagine.

I've never looked at hard data I suppose I've always assumed it to be common sense given the recent history of the U.S. Back in the 60's blacks did not have the right to vote, had to give up their seat at the front of the bus, etc. I would assume that is some pretty bad racism being that back then they were legally and effectively second hand citizens without doubt.

I think its safe to assume it was very much worse back then than it is now.

Some older people from that time period have held on to it through the years. Old white and black men are pretty ****in racist from my experience. Many white's hold on to the hate and many blacks hold on to the resentment.

Now contrast that with younger people in their 20's and 30's, have you ever talked to them that much or gotten to know them? You may not have if you are older and have lost touch with younger people. If you were to make a racist joke they would look at you like you were crazy. If you were to suggest most blacks are lazy and don't want to work, they'd prefer to just get in the welfare line, they'd call you a stereotyping jackass. They weren't raised with such notions. That's not to say I haven't had hillbilly neighbors in their 20's that say racist things, but its more uncommon and generally restricted to uneducated small town folk.

I don't know what you've experienced in your life but this is all pretty routine and common knowledge as far as I'm concerned. I'm surprised you would even ask me such a thing, I assume you're just fishing.
 
Alright, just your opinion and experience. Wasn't sure where it was coming from, but that's fine. I don't think it is something you can get rid of. If we all had the same color skin, it would be the people with brown eyes calling those with blue eyes inferior. It'll always be something.
 
Recently watched on TV very funny and clever comedian from South Africa. "The African American", His show is called. He says there that when a person is half black and half white, he still black.
Children of interracial marriages, despite having half or more white blood, go into the black culture. With few exceptions, of course.
The same thing happened with our president. Being half white and completely not familiar with his black father, he eventually chose to be a black man and not white. This is his free and awareness choice.
Where possible, it supports black against white, which is absolutely not allowed to the president of a country like the U.S., which was created by white settlers from Europe.
What a warm feeling it can cause to the white population of the country, unless they are suicidal?

But with todays internet as we know it today, I don't see how it can be done. Unless todays pre-teens and teens are going to hide their laptops or PC under their mattress like how I hid my Playboy magazines under my mattress fifty years ago.

I would say they're already treated like pornography because they have an age limit. Although, like pornography the age limit really isn't enforced. Is that what you meant, or would you go further?

If you look at those who have been involved in mass shootings they all had something in common besides playing violent video games and having an infatuation with violent movies where the villain wore the white hat and was looked upon being a hero.

They are between 16 to 27 years of age.

None were involved in after school physical activities.

Few participated in organized school sports or after school organized sports.

All were panty waist ******s. They couldn't handle losing.

Bring back JFK's program of mandatory one hour per day of physical education in school.
That also included a mandatory physical fitness test every year.

Parents have to get their children involved with after school competitive sports where scores are kept and their are winners and losers. There has to be losers. This is extremely important to learn how to lose without feeling like your a loser in life. Winning has to be earned.

Todays younger generation have been so pampered, that when they are bullied by their peers they can't handle it.

Pre-teen boys should be playing army, cowboy and Indians, wrestling, and they shouldn't be punished for a little fisticuffing.

Mattel Toys should get back in the toy gun business.

If your young pre-teen boy didn't ask Sanat Claus for a Daisey Red Ryder for Christmas, check his dresser drawer for girly panties.

No, that was never what I meant, the abbreviation SS stands for me as the Schutz Staffel, not the Secret Service. If you type in SS in Google, most of the answers are about the Nazi SS and not the secret service. To be honest, Social Security is third after Schutz Staffel and Waffen SS.

"Likely" is a term used by many to make something sound like it is a fact, when in real fact they have NOTHING to back up their assertion. In short, it's crap. This reporter doesn't know if the "game" is real or not...But my opinion is that it is real, only due to the fact that teens do some messed up ****....Do I think it is epidemic? no, not yet anyway....

But to try and tie it to "institutionalized racism" is this reporters attempt to set the narrative, and you obviously fell for it.
