You cannot justly want certain rights if rights do not exist. It's like fighting a war to make the Easter Bunny real, cannot happen. Rights either have to exist and thus there is a basis, a worth to human life that cannot be rightfully encroached upon by others, or there isn't. That's it. You talk about people using the word "rights" incorrectly, well you are doing just that. You don't mean rights, you mean privilege; and that's an entirely different beast.

I think this Militia idiot should be locked up to where he will never see the light of day. But I think Biden would surprise you if he ever became president. IMO he is very capable although he would continue to stick his foot in him mouth from time to time.
 
Biden would be welcome relief for newspaper comics..

Yep, I think Biden would end being a lot better than most people think and he does say what he means and means what he says and he sometimes does that in, shall I say a not so PC way. Perhaps that is why I like him. As for keeping his mouth quiet, that is probably the wisest thing to do at the moment.

I haven't been to the moon because I don't own a space ship. I also don't have billions of dollars or anything remotely resembling astronaut training. When I ask myself "should I go to the moon?" My claustrophobia isn't something I even ponder.

Russia never invaded because our nuclear arsenal was enough of a deterrent, and failing that our conventional military was enough of a deterrent. And then because they didn't want to. Your pea shooter wasn't factored into the decision.

I don't think Biden will run mainly because of his age. I also do not think religion and race play that much of a role anymore. Remember Keyes a few years ago and Cain this year for the GOP. Cain took over the number one spot even there for a week or two during the primaries. I wonder what Condi Rice thinks about the presidency. I would vote for here, Powell, the man I favored the most to become president is also like Biden, getting too old. I think I seen another IKE in Powell. Something I didn't see in Clark, but that may be because Clark was Air Force, a dog gone wing nut.

Biden would be a good man on the campaign trail to help whoever is the nominee. We'll see what happens
