The links are in reference to one of the major leaders of the progressive movement, Dillingham. Dillingham, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodward Wilson and most progressives were/are racist. Progressives have always believed that some races and ethnicities are inferior to others.

Little chink in your reasoning though unfortunately. Leaded gasoline was phased out many decades ago and those that were exposed the worst in the big cities could have moved who knows where, my guess is Texas for good measure. Also the positive influence of liberalism and progressive activism found in larger cities may be enough to offset the negative effects of the poisoned who stayed put.

We're already seeing a massive decline from the peak around 1990 when the lead babies in their 20's and 30's were in their most dangerous prime. Just so happens this trend also correlates with the rise of conservatism... lower iq's, more aggression, inability to think through complex issues, its all intertwined.

See my previous reply to Apache for your answer. Also I'd like to add that the negative effects of lead poisoning have largely tapered off so Obama was voted in with clear minded liberals rather than brain damaged conservatives. Another decade and old conservatism will be dead, literally.

Instead of guessing why not do your own research of what cities have the highest rates of lead poisoning ? From what I see, all are extremely blue.

If the inner cities, where the majority of liberals concentrate, were so "clean", why is Obama's EPA unleashing their "Environmental Justice" program next year?

I'm thinking the teachings you've received has some serious flaws in it. Clearly the poisoning has resulted in massive loss in ability to comprehend complex issues.

Of course, considering the newest generations have only been "world aware" for a few years, such ignorance is expected.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up....it is always brought up by some right-winger as a way to justify the outrageous actions of other groups. It also takes the film completely out of context. I actually saw the movie. It was not a movie that glorified assignating GWB. Quite the contrary. I actually got very "teary-eyed" during that part of the film and god knows that I am no GWB fan. The movie was actually quite good and was more about how in the immediate aftermath of the assassignation the media dn the nation were quick to target and identify a "suspect" who fit the "profile", which turned out to be an innocent person. Unfortunately, the film got pidgeon-holed into the whole "OMG its an anti-GWB film", which it wasn't. It was more of an indicment of our knee-jerk rush to judgement mentality as a country.
