We agreed to unfreeze assets and lift sanctions. No telling what missing components they'll purchase and recieve over the next 6 months.

It's about how you spin or perceive it. We will argue that they were largely in the net positive or at least net positive intention. You'll argue otherwise. We will institutionalize our perspective.

We could also tell that to the fool that wants to shock us with tales of selfishness, greed, and anti-democratic action.

What if I said self-interest in foreign policy was good? What if I said using our power, even if carefully and with restraint, to maintain our dominance, is good for us, and perhaps what we see as good in itself?
