    HA!
You clearly don't understand who makes the motion for cloture votes, and that move in the broader sense of history. Reid makes the motion as often as possible for political points.

The final vote was 52-48. The previous threshold was 60 votes to bring such nominations to a final up-or-down vote.
“The threshold for cloture on nominations not including the Supreme Court, is now a majority,” Sen Pat Leahy (D-Vt.), the Senate president pro temp, declared after the vote.
Three Democrats voted with Republicans against the change: Carl Levin (D-Mich.), Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Mark Pryor (D-Ark.). Levin is a longtime senator; Manchin and Pryor come from red states.
Shortly after the vote, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) office sent around a memo noting that the Senate has changed its procedures using a majority vote 18 times since 1977. Republicans, though, note that none of the changes rise to the level of today’s change.

Of course his action translated means:

Let's do everything possible to get the spotlight off the Obamacare scandle we're responsible for...

How blatant does Senator Reid's dance need to be?

Well when EVERYTHING is filibustered, just maybe Harry and the Democratic caucus have caught on...

Because the supposedly most transparent administration in the country's history has to be forced to do the people's business.

Take off your political blinders for two seconds and ask yourself why the Obama administration would not allow the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, in camera, to see the transcripts from the FBI interviews of the Benghazi survivors and why those same survivors would be banned from testifying, in camera, before those same committees?

What is Obama and the administration trying to hide?

That's absurd, please tell me you're kidding with a comment like that. That's off the charts.

    Re: Senate approves nuclear option

Sounds good now and the Democrats are greatly empowered. No doubt, we will see a wave of social giveaway programs in an effort to buy votes and loyalty.

But now, more than ever, the Democrats have bet the farm and the cows on the success of Obamacare over the next 11 months. If Obamacare succeeds, we'll be all Dem, all the time. If Obamacare fails - and it is FAR too early to tell - then the Republicans will take a terrible revenge.

Interesting times. Watch for the freebie wave and get it while the getting is good.

No, spot on. I'm not surprised it doesn't register on your charts though.
