Republicans seem to be playing “how low can you go.” Just 28 percent of Americans have a favorable impression of the GOP, according to the latest monthly Gallup tracking poll. The number ” is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992,” the polling company stated.
I said it before in this thread I think. Dont mistake disapproval for the democratic party for approval for the republican party. The two don't equate. No matter what happens with Obama the right has done very little to change their parties image. People dont really like Democrats, but they prefer them over Republicans.

What amazes me, is how those on the left actually believed that Obamacare was going to be so wonderful, when it was shoved down our throats without anybody even knowing what the hell was in the damned thing.

This is a complete disaster and should be held up for generations to come, as a testament to what happens when politicians put their party and their political agendas ahead of the well being of the nation and those they were elected to serve, the American people.

Things are looking so bad for Obama that in a year or so, his numbers could drop as low as Bush's did.

Obama's numbers are low and he deserves them.

However .. missing in all this breaking news is that the republican House polls even lower than Obama at 21%. Democrats don't fare much better at 25%.

Corporate-owned politicians, nearly every one of them.

The problem is that national polls regarding Congress are irrelevant and meaningless as Congressional Elections are local. Your support or lack of it for my Representative means nothing as you don't vote for my Representative nor do I vote for yours. Based upon the Obamacare debacle the Republicans in Congress are going to look a lot better as time goes by

Republicans, Democrats, now Tied in Race for Congress 2014

That from a 9 point lead for Democrats before the shutdown. In Virginia, it almost erased a 12 point lead in the Governors Race. Obamacare is killing vulnerable democrats, which is why 39 of them broke party lines to vote for the Republican bill in the House, it's why the Senators are forcing Obama to suggest administrative fixes to the lost health insurance plans, and it's a story that isn't going to go away.

What's more the right is largely split. Republicans, Libertarians, and Tea Party and whatever other groups there are. While on the left they blindly still follow the Democratic Party. But if you like polls here you go.
I like the failure to include a link, however, the number is correct but divorced from context - conservatives are more likely to say that they disapprove of the Republican Party than liberals are to say that they disapprove of the Democrat Party.... but conservatives aren't about to go out and respond by voting Democrat.

I said it before in this thread I think. Dont mistake disapproval for the democratic party for approval for the republican party.
Wouldn't do so - both parties are pretty much in the gutter. Which is why issues become important as partisan identification fades. And the number one issue on the plate is.... Obamacare. And people hate it.

No matter what happens with Obama the right has done very little to change their parties image. People dont really like Democrats, but they prefer them over Republicans.
Republicans currently enjoy an 11 point advantage among Independents.

Of course they need to make their social system look good to keep discontent at bay. Actually nobody here can understand how anyone could believe ACA were bad. The public media suggest only fanatics on the far right are against it.
In other words, it sounds like your MSM is very much like ours. Anybody against the ACA is racist, btw.

Hey at least we have lefties admitting it now. It seems you guys pick and choose polls as long as you can before accepting the sea change.

Democrats are scrambling to figure this out. They should have NEVER vote this incompetent clown into office. He has zero executive experience, and hasn't got a clue what he's doing. He flies around the country campaigning, because doesn't know what to do in the Oval Office.
"He who does not think himself worth saving from poverty and ignorance by his own efforts, will hardly be thought worth the efforts of anybody else." -- Frederick Douglass, Self-Made Men (1872)
"Fly-over" country voted, and The Donald is now POTUS.
