Seeking help is a theory not a fact. No help seemed to be required for 2 hours and six blocks of travel.

That's exactly what the **** I would do if I were in a car accident and needed help. What would you do?

If he felt threatened, he should have called the cops instead of shooting someone.

    That's why it's murder

At least Zimmerman was getting his ass kicked on his back. This wet your pants scared conservative was terrified through a locked door.

You guys don't get it both ways. If you want yours guns you also get the responsibility. If you kill someone for no good reason you go to prison for the rest of your life, just like everyone else.

Is murder always a life sentence?

It is neither theory nor established fact - it is the balance of probability.

Can you think of another, credible reason why an injured and disoriented 19 year old girl would knock on someone's door at the dead of night?

Seeking help could amount to honking the horn or screaming for help.

Or it could amount to knocking on your door.

Would you have shot this unarmed young lady in the face for knocking on your door?

It looks like someone needs to start rewriting a lot of old jokes.

No that is not why it is murder, especially as it isn't.
Nor would the police have gotten there in time before she did anything.
Nor is that a requirement to be murder.

Regardless, the elements do not add up to murder, which would be why he was also charged with manslaughter, as that is what occurred.

Stay at the crime scene and await arrest.

The same credible reason that they left the accident (crime) scene where help was available.
