Again, I don't understand the focus on the two hour disappearance and thinking back on it, you didn't explain it. Yet, you keep bringing it up as if it were somehow relevant

    Why is that?

Don't I know it!! If she had become afraid, her intoxication may have resulted in behavior that seemed aggressive. It could make for a somewhat tragic scenario where a very afraid young lady ended up frightening a homeowner late at night.

So then, you're saying shooting a teenager knocking on your door is "self defense"?

Sorry, but there is no black and white answer.

It depends on the situation, and the actions involved.

    Is it possible? Of course.

That isn't my way, but the way it has been reported.
You asked where I got it from, I provided it.

Do you really not understand why I stated, "Now I have no idea if what has been reported is true", when I gave you what you asked for?

And then you fail to provide proof to support your belief when it is asked for.
All you did was provide something you believed as support.
Belief isn't good enough and you should know that.

And if you want to know how to prove it, look at the second image with the door removed.
Lets see if it dawns on you.

I could see the fear from an aged homeowner.

The accidental shot fired by this Detroit homeowner bothers me.

Having a gun in a ready position and one's finger on the trigger is moronic if one is assessing a situation.

I have been in a position several times where I had a handgun out at the low ready position, but did not have my finger on the trigger.

Stupid things happen with poor gun handling skills.
