House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder[W:65]

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Eh? Bush had 55 disapproval and Obama 53.. how can Obama's be worse?
Oh, give him some time. Apparently he's just been practicing up until now.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Oh, what war is he invoking this for?

The war against his own people?

That's fine if you don't know what Unitary Executive Theory is, expected actually considering your partisanship. Do you have an 8 year old child or perhaps is your pet dog or cat available? I'd like to raise the level of discussion and you aren't capable of that.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Not race card. Race card card.

Hmm, guess we have a new term.

:lamo You're really reaching there. Approval - Obama 39. Bush 40..

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

I hope that you are right, but I don't have much faith in the voting populace of this country anymore to make good choices, based on what is best for the sustainability of our country.

Republican is not a "good choice."

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Hmm, guess we have a new term.

Yes, we do. It's when a conservative pre-emptively accuses the other side of accusing their side of racism with no evidence. It's very convoluted, but it's exactly what you did.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Olson will be called racist, and a southern nigger-hater. They'll probably claim he's with the KKK.

Right-wing preemptive victim card. No one saw that coming.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Much as Holder has been a piss poor excuse for an Attorney General... I find it so ironic whenever congress in general tries to go after anyone.

It is one of the most corrupt institutions on Earth, whether it's the President, a baseball player who's been juicing, or the attorney general.

Congress as a unitary body should not be allowed to sit in judgement of anyone.

They are just as corrupt scum as the people they go after.

So, you're against the constitution?

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Why do some people act like the Constitution is 100% flawless?

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Ain't gonna happen. All of DC doesn't have the character and integrity to really go up against a president whose approval ratings have been as good as O's have been. The American public wouldn't get behind it as a whole, and without public support, I expect this to just be a symbolic move.

PBO's numbers aren't astronomical, so his approval rating don't mean anything.

No one in DC has the guts to go up against the first "black" president, for fear of being branded a racist. They'll have their careers ruined, no matter how many black friends they have.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Why do some people act like the Constitution is 100% flawless?

That's irrelevant, it's the law of the land. You want to live in this country, you either accept it or get it amended.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Because it is.

Just because we "accept" it doesn't mean we have to like it. I agree with Jet -- Congress, as it stands right now, should not be allowed to sit in judgement of anyone.

Because it is.

If it is flawless, why is there an amendment process?

The endless wanking over the Constitution, as if it's a Bible or something, never ceases to amuse me. It's a great document. However, it was written by men, flawed men. It is NOT flawless, it is NOT perfect, and it never will be.

Thats what the Libbs keep saying...eh?

Thank you for this utterly pointless, content-free addition to the conversation.

1) Jet isn't even an American, so his opinion carries zero credibikity.

2) The amendment process is what makes The Constitution flawless.

3) The Constitution allows you to live in the greatest country in the world, so yes, it IS "The Bible"

That was a seperate conversation...among the grownups.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Don't know how far they will get with this, but I gotta say, it's about time someone started going after this corrupt administration.

Nice to see our congressmen aren't wasting their valuable time.

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Consider the VRA split-decsion from the SCOTUS, only leaning to the rightists, as Roberts and Kennedy demanedd..
The GOP battle-plan since 11/2008 has been to go after the AG relentlessly, before the fact, just as they have Obama..
The AG is suing anti-voting states like Texas, where most of the impeaching GOPs are from..
And the ACA was also a split-decision, leaning to the rightists .
Why do some people act like the Constitution is 100% flawless?

That's a load of crap if I ever heard one. I don't give a **** if he's from MARS. Who the **** do you think you are?

2) The amendment process is what makes The Constitution flawless.

The amendment process is a tacit admission that the document is NOT flawless.

3) The Constitution allows you to live in the greatest country in the world, so yes, it IS "The Bible"

Grow up.

One of MSNBC's hosts just accused the conservatives of racism today, related to this. They listed all the black members of Obama's group they went after (Holder, Van Jones, etc) while somehow forgetting to mention the white members also - Sebelius for one - while making it clear she was accusing them of racism.. So, it's already happened.

Pardon me if I don't take your word for it.

Also, MSNBC does not represent "the left," no matter how much people try to claim it does.

Oh? That's not what Rachael Maddow says several times she has stated she is a representation of the left. Her life is a testimonial to it. Nor Lawrence O'Donnell. But barring them.....can you explain why Chris Matthews Book Hard Ball is required reading for many of those College Universities out East Coast and in DC?

Re: House Republicans introduce resolution to impeach Attorney General Holder

Remember when The Obama/Holder administration chose NOT to come after the previous admin.
with corrupt I$$a chairman, so the Nation could come together..
Nice to see our congressmen aren't wasting their valuable time.
The only legacy Obama will eventually have is one of a GOP "just say no" sabotage,
which will continue for 38 more months..

Most books have your 9ers at +3 EV, or NO -3 -120..
They are "juicing" NO, forcing you to spend $120 to win $100 back plus your bet..
Interesting to me has the Reno books giving 3.5 to SF, trying to bait the
SF and OAK folks
to cross state lines and take SF..
A safer bet might be over on the over/under, which continues to go up, and is between 47.5 up to 48.5 now..
I think we could see a 38-34 type game..
