Yeah, I'll give you one....The Earned Income Tax Credit.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

You live here of your own free will. It is basically no different than any other voluntary association to decide to enter into and abide by for the benefits involved.

I'm not giving you any standard. I'm asking you if you about YOUR standards. Do YOU consider it ethical to take one person's money and give it to another?

I'm still not seeing the connection between where one lives and the relationships into which one has voluntarily entered?

All you have to do to seethe connection is answer one simple question: Do you live in the USA voluntarily or are you sentenced to do time here for a crime and are prevented from living elsewhere?

You don't know what the word "ethical" means?

If a person lives somewhere voluntarily, what does that have to do with any relationships he has made with others? You are not explaining how these two different things are connected?

Wow, I remember a time when progressives like you hay, would get nearly apoplectic over the suggestion of "love it or leave it".... Citing everything from tribalism, to nihilism in describing the "knuckle draggers" that would suggest that you are 'unpatriotic' for expressing a dissenting viewpoint....

Funny how things change in such a short time eh?
