Why else would a liberal support redistributions of wealth and higher taxes on the rich?
Whenever taxes are paid wealth is redistributed. Higher taxes for the more affluent is nothing new and it does mean they are hated. They pay more because they are more dependent on the government and our infrastructure.

No - that is merely your belief. You have not shown anybody is robbing anybody.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Obama and the Democrats passed a law that will benefit big insurers? How does the GOP fit into this?

The rich are dependent and the poor are independent? That's a rather newish theory.

When we have less than 50% of the income earners in this country paying Federal Income Taxes liberals don't have a problem with it. You are like far too many, no understanding of what your taxes fund nor the responsibility of the various governments we have, Federal, State, and local.

Typical liberalism is all about implementing social justice and jealousy. You show it every day.

Of course it's my belief. I think it's wrong for the government to take money from one person and give it to someone else. Do you disagree with this opinion?

So, you know better than Yellen, Bernake a d the CEOs of multinational corporations like Wal-Mart and Cisco. Is that your argument?

The GOP is at war with Obama. They will do everything in their power to prevent him and the D's from getting credit for a booming economy, and that includes killing the economic recovery. Deficits didn't matter to Republicans when Bush and Reagan were in office, but now suddenly they do. Are you that brainwashed?

I wasn't really going to address your lies because they are just so out of this world but I've got nothing to do before the game starts...

    1) Since I'm a libertarian and rarely vote for Democrats, I doubt I'm the type of person that Democrats love.

    2) Welfare "directed" at Republicans is the same welfare that anyone else gets. Food stamps, section 8 housing benefits, medicare, and medicaid. The difference is that conservatives bleat and moan about welfare while demonizing people who receive them.

    3) The vast majority of southern states are red states. The vast majority of southern state take more federal money than they give. Republicans love welfare right up until welfare they like is on the chopping block. Then all of a sudden it doesn't become about "welfare" it becomes about illegal immigrants or "California bailouts".

    4) Because it can't be stressed enough, you are a liar. It literally defines you and who you are. Anyone who disagrees with you on anything is a "liberal". I've seen you throw that claim at centrists, unidentifieds, libertarians, independents, and even conservatives. All you have is labeling someone a "liberal" and it's become cartoonish. You're a caricature of a parody in your simplistic partisanship. I would have ignored your cartoonish buffoonary but I've got some free time and it is important to call out liars, lest they influence someone in society.

Oh what it would be like to have those numbers today.

Tell me why you continue to support Obama and ignore his results?
The Dems did not enact austerity measures during the Reagan recovery like the GOP is doing now under Obama. Austerity alone accounts for 2-3 million fewer jobs. Those missing jobs are the GOP's fault not Obama's. Everyone from Bernake to the CEO of Wal-Mart knows it. The only people arguing otherwise are the RW partisan hacks at Fox, Talk Radio and the WSJ Op-Ed Page.

Do you claim you know better than people who deal with the economy for a living?

Conservative is either a paid RW hack, hired to disrupt forums like this, or he is so far gone, he'd vote Sarah Palin in as president.
