WOW! As somebody who works in government public policy I have to tell you that short sighted and not well thought out thinking like that gets absolutely nowhere and is not at all considered as serious by anyone who has to back up their ideas with actual facts, figures and step-by-step processes showing they can achieve their goals.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Worth noting, however, is that the poll is of registered rather than likely voters, which will lean slightly D, and that "hoping the opposition really screws up" is not a terribly good strategy. Gonna be funny to watch Democrats begin to swing against ole O-Care.

Only thing it proves is what intelligent folks have known all along: GOP voters are dumb as rocks, i. e. deluded enough to believe that GOP pols would actually repeal the mandate that's so profitable for their big insurer sponsors.

It is not necessary to back up the idea that something is immoral with facts and figures. I've already told you that I regard robbing Peter to pay Paul to be immoral and that the federal government should stop doing it. How we go about stopping is up to the politicians and bean counters.

So that is your all purpose ace up your sleeve. Just declare what you do not like as immoral and it gets you off the hook from having to really engage in a detailed discussion of your ideas, their impact upon real people in the real world and our nation.

And you think this ruse is going to fool anybody?

Look, we have been over this, the numbers speak for themselves, tripling the debt from 900 billion to 26. trillion while generating 17 million jobs, doubling GDP, increasing Tax revenue by 60%, and creating a peace dividend, Debt to GDP ratio less than 60%. Oh what it would be like to have those numbers today.

Tell me why you continue to support Obama and ignore his results?

Isn't that what liberals think? Why else would a liberal support redistributions of wealth and higher taxes on the rich?

    From the Yellen article above:
You got the first part right, pouring 85 billion a month into the economy is what is keeping the GDP and stock market where it is

The second is a lie but typical of what I would expect of an Obamabot. GOP understands the private sector, you and Obama don't

The issue is whether Peter ought to be robbed in order to pay Paul. So let's just clarify exactly where we disagree. Do you think it's right to rob Peter in order to pay Paul?
