It's offical Obamacare enrollment is low.

They must not show that number on the programming you watch..
Wonder why!!
How are 396,261 again? Is that some sort of link on that?

What percent of Massachusetts folks have insurance today..
I don't want to pay for uninsured scofflaws when they have an emergency need..How about you??

You're not. Insurance is a gamble. You're betting you will get sick and need the insurance to cover the costs. The insurance companies are betting that you won't get sick and they'll make more money overall than they lose. If someone has no insurance and gets sick, they are responsible for 100% of their health care costs. It's that simple. It shouldn't cost you a penny.

What don't you like about the 106,185 number??
Which is far above the Massachusetts number by percents with a much more complicated systemm..
Which party insisted on state exchanges??
UPDATE: Only 26,794 of Obamacare enrollments came through the federal exchange.....snip~

Yes.....indeed it is a great talking point. When exemplifying failure on a massive level and all hand-crafted by Democrats, Liberals and the Progressives.

Maybe because yours just don't add up? What were you afraid to produce a link.

UPDATE: Only 26,794 of Obamacare enrollments came through the federal exchange. The rest, 79,000+ have received their coverage through state exchanges. Here is a state-by-state breakdown of the number of people who have enrolled through the federal exchange.....snip~

But it will cost the state and federal government money..
Which means it will continue to trickle-back to me as it does every year..
So, let's take a chance on renter's insurance, home-owner's insurance, car insurance and all the rest..
Again, how does it feel to root for ACA failure each day when ACA is getting better each day .

state exchanges are part of the system thanks to the GOP---thank you

I won't break for a number that is all over the news..
I don't play that game, but got caught up in it when I first came on DP .

Christie/Rubio sounds good for the Hispanic vote in the southwest, southeast, southwest..
TEAts are still mad at Rubio over Rubio's immigration bill the House is sitting on..
Repub TEAts are just **** out of luck again as Rubio is needed more than a TEAt to balance the ticket .

I do not think Rubio, I have nothing to go on this except a gut feeling, that Rubio will not play second fiddle to anyone. He will not accept any nomination to be VP. So as of this moment, I think a Christie/Martinez ticket would be the strongest. Now if Rubio were to head the ticket, I think he should pick someone from Ohio, FLA and OH are must win states for the Republicans if they are even going to have a chance in 2016. Would a Kasich accept the VP, I think he would. If not Portman maybe?

Guess those Democrats should have thought things out before trying to go with their own craft brew.....notice, it doesn't have the same affect as the Obama Kool Aid does.

Rubio? He has visited Iowa at least 5 times this year.

We'll see, you may be on to something there. But we have 2 years to go before we really can start looking at a prospective nominee seriously. Yeah, November of 2015 and then we will be more on solid ground.

I think they are jumping out Early. Paul has hit up Iowa and so had Cruz and Christie. Also Priebus I think, wants to push it out in the Open keeping the Obama failures relevant, and on running.

considering that the administration could not deploy a major public campaign urging uninsured people to enroll for coverage, and that obamacare was not marketed heavily in the 36 states where the federal government is operating the exchanges, enrollment is probably down to all the bad press of the roll out.

Just when I thought I heard it all...lol!

I don't believe the GOP is capable of allowing a woman to be on the National ticket, after Palin,
who is now attacking the Pope..
Secondly, Martinez has allowed the Medicaid extension in NM and is now anathema to the GOP,
as with Sandoval from NV..
Kasich is also off-limits since he took Medicaid but Walker is okay since he didn't..
My dark horse, Gov. Pence from Indiana, will look good to you when he is reelected next year .

Hello fellow Washingtonian. More accurately, 106,000 out of around 15 millionish (which I think is the targeted pool of uninsured/those insured with "inadequate" plans). Still laughably low, but I think we all expected that. Unsustainable if the numbers don't work out.

At this rate, it'll only take 12 years to register every one of the "uninsured"

Sarah Palin was on the national ticket.

as my post says; the GOP won't allow anything that stupid on any other tickets; Palin is calling the Pope a liberal; what a ****ing idiot;

Time for Condi Rice to step up and do it for Country.....which Clinton wont like having to take on Condi in any debate. Wherein frequent flyer miles and first lady experience wont matter much.

She was intelligent to know Obama-Care would be a total disaster. That's more than I can say for your average Obama supporter.

Well, we'll see. Right now I like to concentrate on November 2014 instead of November 2016. What happens next year will play a huge part on whom is running or not and to what chances they have. Christie is everyone's darling today, but who surprises next year? Who will be the darling next year at this time?

I think it boils down to the question, do the Republicans want to win? If they do, they will nominate someone who can garner 54-55% of the independent vote as it will take that much of the indie vote to overcome the larger Democratic base. I do not think Cruz or Paul could muster above 45% of the indie vote and that may mean the electoral count will be back to McCain's in 2008 or perhaps lower.

But who knows what events may happen between now and then? There may be an event or an hot issue that may propel Cruz or Paul into the limelight.

If they do they will drop all the religious based anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion rallying they do… they will totally drop all those sorts of social issues and concentrate on jobs, economy and Constitution.

Otherwise they will lose AGAIN.

Too bad Elizabeth Warren isn't ready nor is it her turn..
But as you said, 3 years is a long time and LBJ didn't live long after finishing his 1st term..
I also like Gillibrand as you have seen me say, and her bill on Military rape is gaining traction over the useless one by McCaskill..
I would think about Condi, and again just as with Christie, would not be as scared of her as when Cheney was running defense..

Time for Condi Rice to step up and do it for Country.....which Clinton wont like having to take on Condi in any debate. Wherein frequent flyer miles and first lady experience wont matter much.

I have been studying independents since 1992 when I worked hard to get Perot elected. I think independents are plain tied of the abortion arguing. It's been the law for what? 30 years or more. It's time to move on and stop bringing it to the forefront. On gay marriage, most independents don't give a hoot one way or the other. It just isn't a hot issue for them. But you are absolutely right, they want a candidate to come up with a plan for jobs, the economy, something to get this country moving again.

She is all knee-jerk and shallow, 2nd amendment remedies if you will..
I'm sure you would feel as comfortable having Palin on the Intelligence Committee as we have with Bachmann..
And now she feels the need to slam McCain..
And she is evrything you need to know about being a Catholic..
Please stay visible Sarah, along with Cruz and the rest..
