But you posted the video as some kind of authority as to the history of CC. I'm questioning that authority. Laced as it is with fringe red herrings. To me that diminishes any serious consideration I might give her opinions or the authority she claims in making such a video.

I'm also not upset in the least. I've calmly and cooly addressed those points to which I have taken exception. The greatest of which is the idea that intention of CC is to narrow the curriculum and prepare our children to be cogs in a national industrial system rather than full citizens in a free republic. That's pretty wild stuff. So I'm taking it up with you since you posted it.

What you have a problem with in the video are opinions, Gina. And, again, they are HER opinions. The video series contains lots of FACTS as well, so would you like to discuss those or just keep complaining about her opinions?

So all these people pissing and moaning about the Common Core; have they contacted their congressmen to repeal NCLB?

Her opinions are bring presented as facts. Because The Gates Foundation, the National Governors Association and Bill Ayers (among others) are conspiring to take away parental and states rights to decide how our children are educated. That is the genesis of her facts.

You on the other hand, wrote a terrific passage on your personal objections that I would give far more consideration. This video just clouds the issue.
