Experiencing sticker-shock at the price of insurance on ObamaCare exchanges?

That's more likely if you live in a "red state" that didn't vote for Obama, according to price data compiled by the Heritage Foundation. In red states, premiums for 27-year-olds rose an average of 78% on ObamaCare exchanges, whereas in "blue states" that voted for Obama, premiums rose a smaller 50%.

Senate critics of ObamaCare say the difference is one way in which the bill is unfair.

Obama Says Punish Enemies and Reward Friends

Hopefully it can get some extra money back from the taker states.

[The ACA] also hit red states harder because their dip**** governors/legislatures refused a crapload of federal money aimed at providing medicaid to more people. In between your state's horridly-low medicaid threshold and 100% of the FPL? Hah, you're ****ed! Thank your red state. I'm sure they'll help you find some boot straps. They've been doing such a great job at that with their conservative values so far.

Medicaid has nothing to do with ACA insurance rates

On the eve of the 2010 midterm elections, President Obama accidentally summed up his governing philosophy in an interview with Univision: "[W]e're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends ..."

This is the cornerstone of politics in Obama's adopted hometown of Chicago. It is also one of the few promises Obama has actually kept.

Just look at the Obama administration's treatment of utility giant Exelon Corp., which has had Illinois' legislature (and especially Obama's old state Senate mentor, Emil Jones) wrapped around its finger for years. An Exelon lobbyist once referred to the company as "the president's utility." One of Obama's top fundraisers sits on Exelon's board. Obama's top political adviser, David Axelrod, worked as an Exelon consultant. Obama's former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel helped create the company through a merger when he was an investment banker. Exelon is one of Obama's oldest "friends."

its how Obama governs it is the Chicago way

Posted edited to clarify that for you.

and your attempting to derail the thread Medicaid has nothing to do with the ACA insurance tax rates being higher in red states then blue and the statement of Obama reward your friends punish your enemies

It's a lie here is what he said:

"If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us' -- if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election -- then I think it's going to be harder. And that's why I think it's so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd."

Umm, the lip-sync isn't too good on that phony excerpt. I'm not lip reading expert but my Mother was deaf so we learned how to "lip-speak" in my family.

And yes, when you get elected, you do reward your friends (thousands of pages worth) but I don't see how you "punish your enemies" unless you believe Obama sets rates in each state.

You know that reality is bad enough that making **** up doesn't help your argument, if anything, it diminishes it because then everything looks like a lie even when it is the truth.

Just saying...

it is not a lie you can argue over context if you want but it is not a lie claiming he said punish your enemies and reward your friends

your own article has him saying just that

History shows criminals from Chicago got theirs too. Didn't Capone die from syphillis?

Yeah.... context is a terrible thing isn't it. It puts meaning into words. For example, Taylor Swift once said "It's a new year, a new beginning and things will change". Hitler said the same thing. I'm sure they were both talking about the same thing and neither could be taken out of context.

context is a two edge sword liberals are experts at taking things out of context

Yeah, he said it on the radio, not as a speech as the video shows - its edited.

Ah, it seems Libertarians are too. You just did it as proven by the fact that the entire quote was posted in its rightful context and it had NOTHING to do with what you said it did. You sure you're not a liberal? ;)

See: OP. :) You posted a quote completely out of context and then pretended it was relevant to what your article was stating. As the quote in its context was 1) three years old 2) completely unrelated to ObamaCare. You did in fact post it out of context, my fellow liberal.

Nope - you repeated your misrepresentation of what Obama said in posts 6 and 7. You are in fact, a Liberal. Welcome to the team! Marxist Ball on Sunday, wear your Peruvian parka. Oh, and Che Guevara shirts are a must.

Don't worry about him trfjr, he doesn't understand the complexity of us libruls.

I'll bring the punch and I'll make sure it's red. I have this new hammer and sickle punch bowl spoon to stir it with.
