Shots Fired At LAX; Injuries Confirmed..... [W:44:90]

Re: Shots Fired At LAX; Injuries Confirmed.....

This guy may have been pissed, but he wasn't a patriot.

At least IMO.

If I had to guess, he read one too many angry blogs/posts/articles on the interwebs, and decided to go do something. But then there's the whole "willing to die" bit, which sounds like what a suicide bomber would do...and that just doesn't fit in my mind with a "patriot". Rather, that sounds like "fanatic".

Yep.....no military service. Nothing to identify him as a pissed off patriot. A note that says he hated cops and the TSA. So the broader implications are he is Anti Government.

Can the Reporter be lined up so they can receive a thousand slaps to the back of their head.....real hard like. You know just enuff to roll the eyeballs inside on their own.

If it truly was misreporting, I wouldn't really blame the reporter that much - they, after all, have been working and training in an environment which fully supports, nay, encourages, such activities...

The profession of reporting has been dead, in the main, for at least a decade now.

Yeah, and it's kinda of funny a day later something is now mentioned about the head of DHS. Off the note.....which now contains conspiratorial accusations in those broader terms. Wonder if the reporter thought they were being intelligent with the way they worded things?

In broader terms, the note is said to have contained conspiratorial accusations against the federal government and a new world order. The note also reportedly expressed anger at former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.....snip~

Re: Shots Fired At LAX; Injuries Confirmed.....

Just for the record there is no such thing as an "M&P 13 assault rifle".

I assume it should have been ".223 M&P 15", or ".223 M&P AR-15", because links referencing the AR-15 are the only ones that show up on the first page when I google ".223 M&P 13"

Happening Now.....this was posted a Minute ago. Flights in and out of LAX suspended.

Shots were fired Friday at Los Angeles International Airport.

LAX-270.jpg

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Friday CDT.

Some people were injured, but information wasn’t available about the nature of the injuries.

Evacuations were ordered.

A Los Angeles Fire Department tweet called it a "multi-patient" incident.

CNN reported that flights in and out of the airport were suspended because of the incident.....snip~

Funny when shots are fired at LAX its a huge deal...... In Chicago no one gives a ****... They blame that **** one terrorists or guns...

Not that hard really to understand. There was an incident in my city here a week ago where a young man shot and killed his half-brother. It made the tv news and local newspaper but doubt it made your local paper's front page because I really doubt your local citizens are really going to care.

But when someone is killed in an international airport it gets everyone's attention as it may not be local but it a place that many of us visit.

Re: Shots Fired At LAX; Injuries Confirmed.....

Turns out to be an off-duty TSA agent that walked into the terminal in camouflage gear and began targetting other TSA agents.

Oh the irony.

It's a sad fact, but the fact is that there are murders that occur in a general sense in Chicago and Los Angeles somewhat regularly.

However, this is the first instance of a TSO being killed on the job in the 12 years since the TSA Was formed along with air port shootings being far less common then some other types that may be occurring in Chicago or LA. So I can kind of understand why this would randomly get a bit more coverage nationally than those instances.

Minor typo. They must have meant the model M&P15 which is just an AR15 but made by S&W. Typical A2 type. Forward assist, 16" barrel, kind of cheap and crappy, stamped lower that's worth like $50. Nothing to write home about. Guy probably copped it for like $800 or $900 bucks.

Yep. And killed at an airport where some years before that some muzzie went in and whacked folks standing at the El Al counter because he hated Jews. That and this fruitloop did this with an AR15. Crap like that bodes poorly for pro gun folks. DNC will no doubt have a field day with once the smoke clears.

What is bizarre for me is that I just realized the shooter is alive. I thought the airport police shot him in the chest and limbs killing him. Then I read they were going to press charges and at first I thought that was odd if he was dead.

Why in the hell wasn't he blown apart by gunfire?

Mornin Crosscheck :2wave: What the MS Media is now making a Big deal about other than the Assault Weapon.....is how this guy will be charged with Murder. But then they will also Charge Him with the Murder of a Federal Worker who was on Duty. The first charge carries a possible life and death sentence by itself. But then they want that federal Charge added.

I guess they figure they can kill him twice. Or give him consecutive life sentences. Which naturally he will get to Defend on each death charge. So another 12 years down the road. They might get around to the finality of the Law.

Hey but it will make you money if there is another hysterical gunbangasm stirred up by the press. Isn't that what you want anyway?

I think a simple 30 days in the electric chair would be adequate.

What, impose the death penalty in only 12 years? In California? He'll more likely die of old age, unless he dies of his injuries in the next few days.

Go for the pull-down on that lever a couple times.....eh? Kinda like a quick.....zap and then flip it back up. Play with him a little likes. Zap zap, zaaaaaaaaap!

Then tell him.....oh you thought that was full strength huh?

Too much attention. A .22lr in the right spot and an unmarked grave. To be forgotten by all people.

give the agent's widow a crowbar a blow torch, a complete pardon signed by Governor Moonbeam and an hour with the tied up murderer. True justice

The TSA are no longer to be detested as scurrilous agents of the overbearing fascist (Obama) state? When did the RWNJ's get that memo? I see the fact that the perp was a patriot gets him no open sympathy.

The TSA started under an acceptable, i.e. Republican, president, and therefore are not really scurrilous agents of the overbearing fascist (Obama) state.

Now, had the TSA been a Democrat idea, it is quite possible that the Republicans would have shut down the government in an effort to overturn it.

They've given up stripping aged ladies and feeling up children (or vice versa)?

Is this another way of saying it is still W's fault?

No one can seriously consider this guy or his actions patriotic, so regardless of his opinion of himself, he is not a patriot.

I've never detested the TSA agents. Individual agents may have questionable actions, but if so, I would tend to blame the TSA managers for not properly screening their employees.
