I'll be flying into LAX in a few weeks... It should be like "lightening not stricking twice in the same spot", right?

I think the word "bear " and the word "carry" are similar enough in definition to be construed as having the same meaning. Even by the SCOTUS.
The hypothetical scenario that has been projected here was that the LAX shooter would have been "dropped" before he got off a shot if everyone at the airport was carrying a gun. I am exploring that contention to see if that is a realistic possibility. I am expanding that thought to see if this train of thinking could be applied to anywhere.
What do you think? If everyone at LAX was carrying ( bearing ) a gun ...could this shooting of the TSA officers have been prevented?

Yeah, crazy TSOs, possibly being a little put off after one of them on the job was murdered and others injured.

Without full knowledge of how the situation occurred its impossible to make an educated guess let alone state something with certainty

So all teachers should be put off and screw people over due to some teacher shootings? I bet TD is right. The TSA agents already suck and keep people standing around, why won't it simply get worse?

I'm in no way agree with any part of your post flippantly insulting TSO's in the wake of all of this

The argument isn't really that the guy couldn't have killed somebody since, as far as I know, nobody actually has "spider senses". The argument is that if somebody DID pull out a weapon they would be met with greater force very quickly instead of being able to stroll about in an office building, a school or a movie theatre until he cops arrived and THIS would give the shooter pause to even try in the first place.

    Who said "Screw people over"?

Turtle suggested they'd be in a poor mood, I suggested it's somewhat reasonable that they'd be in a poor mood after this.

Poor mood doesn't mean "Screwing people over".

Yeah, I could understand Teachers being a little put off and not in the greatest of moods immediately following a school shooting. That doesn't mean the teacher is doing a poor job, being unprofessional, or "Screwing people over"...it mean's they're not in a good mood.

Are you in a good mood every day you're at work? Do you "Screw people over" whenever you've having a bad mood?
