1. The Space program wasn't something that required people to actively sign up, and pay for a private product under mandate of federal law.
2. The Space program wasn't a progressive wealth redistribution program.
3. The Space program a ruse to greater government control over individual decisions.
That's just a few.
I do however understand the point you are trying to make, and I am on record as saying that the failure of a web site isn't the Achilles heel of O-care, but it is endemic of why government will ultimately fail at this.
Why? Point of the thread is that it didn't work at first, therefore it's an abject failure. NASA went through a few hiccups at first, but we didn't just declare the whole thing a failure and give up.
