This comes as no surprize... When the president is found to have been lying to the American people for 3 years, and that lie hits them right in their wallets, that's going to piss off even the Obama faithful.

It's on the downslope, but lord knows if because it has not hit the level of Bush that we have much to worry about. He still has 3 years to make it higher, or dramatically lower. It will be disconcerting to have 16 years of two Presidents that ended their reign with less than 40%

It has become a new trend that is likely to continue for decades perhaps. No matter who becomes president in 2016 he or she will begin with 50% of the population hating them. Along the way he or she will have to deal with unforseen difficult problems that will cost him or she some of the 50 % who brought them in.

The trust of a president has sunk down near the level of a used car salesman. He seems like a nice guy but you know in the end he is going to take you for a loss.

He has worked hard for that. Surprising he has not convinced more people.

Wait until the 24-year-old single man soon finds out he has to buy maternity insurance.....

Obamacare hasn't even shown its ass yet.

According to Gallup his all time low was 38% on Oct 15-17 2011 and is currently at 41%, different poll. But it still shows the president is riding low in the polls. The best way is to look at the RCP averages.

I would bet a dollar to a donut that the kind of person that would trumpet Obama's approval rating dropping with glee, at this time of his term, would be the same kind of person that would make excuses and defend Bush's even lower (3 points,) approval rating at the same time of his term.

Any takers?

Second term presidents generally see lower ratings in their second term.

Bush's approval rating toward the end was just tragic. Not long after his Presidency, had a massive, massive approval rating. Ends with about a quarter of the country approving.

Since President Obama is not facing an election anytime soon my guess is that he won't lose any sleep over this.

Especially when Obama's called a Marxist and told to go back to Kenya by Cruz's trusted advisor Rafael Cruz..
Second term presidents generally see lower ratings in their second term.
And never once in these five years have Democrats seen a hope of a Loyal opposition..
And the GOP furhrer Limbaugh gives the elder Cruz his stamp of aqpproval today..
Have any of you noticed this is 24/7 ?

Very true. But a presidential approval rating can give you a great indication of what will happen in a mid term election. For example G.W. Bush approval rating was at 33% when the Democrats took back congress in Nov of 2006. Clinton was at 42% when the republicans took over congress in 1994. Obama was at 44% when the republicans gained the house back in 2010 and almost the senate by picking up 6 seats. These are the only elections where at least once chamber switch parties during a mid term. The one thing they have in common is whoever was president, his approval rating were at least 44% or lower.

This isn't about Cruz and this isn't about Limbaugh, it's about Obama's declining approval rating which Obama has brought on himself.

Just the opposite, though I wasn't posting to you..

Keep on with the 24/7/365 Obama Derangement syndrome..
Hope someone you care for never has to go through this uber vitriol..Why even wake up ?

I'll bet my right nut that the Libbos will defend Obama no matter what his approval numbers are, no matter how big of a train wreck Obamacare turns out to be.

You have to admit that the Obama diciples are way more fanatical.

To be fair and equal, wait until a 19 year old stripper finds out she's paying for some guys testicular cancer surgery:roll:. You know it's a pool, right? Not a one for one exchange of service costs.

Yes, I don't approve of Obama either but I'm not happy about it. When he leaves in 3 more years, we'll have had 16 years of piss-poor leadership. I suppose we'll survive it and then the next moron can be elected.

Do you have some kind of problem with Allah?
Rafael Cruz gives the GOP a two-for-one on the lunatic fringe..And still no walk backs from the GOP scum..Time to fight their fire with ours..Ask Dukakis whether he should have been tarred-and-feathered with the Willie Horton ads and not respond .

Speaking of approval ratings and Congress, how are those numbers doing?

Oh-oh. The dreaded 'Libbos' reference. That's a cue to disregard everything in the post as being just mindless, partisan drivel.
